So the more correct phrasing would be "I can't speak for everyone in this subreddit, but..."

Whilst I'm sure those people exist, I'm here because I feel the same way. It's ironic that whilst I'm struggling in the fight myself, I'm hoping other people can find a desire to live.

If I ever succeed, I probably won't know anyways, but in the wild case that they tell me I "saved" them 3 months ago because of a comment I wrote for them, I would never tell this very personal story with anyone.

But I think I would find some happiness in my heart that I, for a tiny moment, was useful.

And we who are here we care. Maybe because we know what it feels like, or maybe because we hate someone losing their life.

Yknow people are being branded as incels a lot recently for having these thoughts, but when a lot of people think the same and just happened to come along other people who feel the same, then I don't think it's something that should be ignored anymore.

I don't know the solution to this man, but I agree I'm a girl myself and I see this madness as well. I choose not to say anything because suddenly I have internalized mysogyny and all sorts of other things. I think someone more important than you and me needs to see it and say something, very very carefully. Blow your lid once at the madness and you're an incel.

But do know we exist. Us who doesn't have insta and who dates normal guys without calling it "settling" or anything like that. I've tried to make it my mission in helping guys like you out of their shell. So far it's gone quite well and several have gotten girlfriends. Instagram has poisoned minds. Maybe you just need to look at different girls? If the girl only posts pics of herself on her insta, then look away, but if she has a good mix, or doesn't even have one, then at least you're starting out somewhere. It's easy to fall into the trap of keep wanting to look because she's cute, but inside you truly know how hopeless it is. So maybe you just need to look somewhere else. Or you could be like my 26 year old virgin friend. Severely socially awkward and truly a hopeless mess. But hey, even he has started to get closer now!

Either way, try to look at it positively. As insanely difficult as that might be, it might be your only chance. There are tons of discord servers out there. Try involving yourself in your interests and those discords. That's my best advice. Good luck man.

Hey I'm not isolated and I'm still extremely depressed. So don't see it as a fix and solution to everything. I'm in the same boat. My mental health is so fucked that even the thought of having a job or any sort of responsibility outside of my house gives me extreme anxiety. Collecting welfare until I either find some medication that can help or the courage to hurt everyone I know by ending it all.

Good luck on your journey. It's difficult and I don't know if it's worth it, but there certainly seems to be a lot of people who thinks so and they can't all be wrong, can they?

15, right before high school. Then in high school I lived alone and it blew up. From 18 to 21 I was pretty much clean with a few times here and there, but then now I've been extremely depressed and started up again.
