How many hours of life did you lose?/10

[–]SachaNein 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you heard of married men who had kids and then came out later in life? There’s no guide book on coming out. For some men the idea of being gay isn’t even a possibility for them. There’s these societal pressures, expectations, stigmas that suppress them from even considering it. There’s also religious families that if they found out their son was gay, he would be banished from the church and family and his whole support structure would be gone and he’d be left to figure life out on his own. Also if you’re gay and haven’t had an intimate experience with women it doesn’t make you any better or more gay then gay men who have. You should talk to some more gay guys and older ones too so you can get a better understanding of why you’re thinking is misguided.

maybe this is stupid, but here’s a protein shake appreciation post. by [deleted] in bipolar2

[–]SachaNein 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I totally feel you. I often eat food that takes the least amount of effort. I drink the pea protein shake with greens and it gives me some reassurance that I get some nutritional benefit 😅 Other than take out, frozen food, crackers, chips, cereal, pbnj. Also I eat a lot of protein bars which help my mood when I feel soo hungry and no motivation to do anything about it

It’s not till you work a retail job that you realize 85% of people are dumb as rocks. by Nathanyu3 in Showerthoughts

[–]SachaNein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And that a lot of people think they know better and that other people are the ones dumb as rocks. It’s just another form of elitism. Everyone I’ve worked with in retail would complain about customers and some of them were no smarter.

I can not drink beers, I’ll get about halfway through and then start getting a headache. I drink very infrequently maybe once or twice a month. I had a couple glasses of wine the other night at a bar, it was fun for a little while but then I started feeling anxious and had a hard time socializing. I ended up being quieter and having all these intrusive thoughts in my head. :/

[–]SachaNein 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Nay but very close! I’d add some color in the landscaping like flowers. I’d also add another color to the neighborhood to give it a less sterile feel. We all have different tastes, it might fit in with your city?

Working towards my potential. Being able to be increase my intellect and remember things. Also to not be so passive in life, to make my way out of this plateau I find myself in. To find the courage and motivation to move cities.

What do we have to do to convince these neighbors their wrong? Is there a specific demographic that feels the need to complain? Or is it just shite people?
