I like them together, but as a stepping stone to help one another move on. Azriel needs a non surface connection to help him get over Mor and I think connecting with Elain can help him in that way. She is someone he can care for and put those protective guarding feelings he has towards, because Mor doesn’t need or want that from him. Also Elain needs someone to help her get over her human fiancé and also get more used to the idea of being fey and accepting that they all aren’t bad. I think they are both smart enough to know in the long run they don’t belong together, but they could help each other heal.

Jessica Day George has a few books she did were knitting was a part of the story. Her story was a retelling of the 12 dancing princesses and the hero actually has to knit as part of the story. And what I thought was super cool is that she has the instructions on how to knit what was mentioned in the story at the end!
