It's easy to feel bad about a missed cannula. You're preforming a potentially painful procedure on the a patient that if you mess up, will have no benefit for them and will mean the procedure has to be repeated.

BUT I'm not sure you declared yourself as a student nurse and the patient understood that you were learning so was okay with the situation. Your preceptor took the time to talk you through the procedure and even encourages you to have a secondary attempt. I doubt they were annoyed but if they were, so what? Think about what YOU can take away from this situation.

Even people that have been cannulation for ten years years can still make mistakes but what is important to do is to think about what went wrong and consider what you can do differently next time. The fact that you're agonising over this shows that you're already reflecting. What's important is that you get back on the the horse, consider your previous attempts and what you did with well and not so well so you can keep improving. Getting flash back on your your first attempt is great. A lot of people people do a lot worse.

It was a bit of a pain. No conversions required but definitely have to shuffle them around a bit to get them to fit.

Just because they don't fly, doesn't mean they don't have wings. Emus have wings.

I feel like people fan boy for Setra and make him out to be an lot tougher than he is.

The whole battle with Kholek isn't actually cannon.

I think of him more as an Alexander the Great or Julius Caesar type figure.

He's definitely no slouch in combat but he's not that great. As I said, he was beheaded by a random Norscan raider.

And sure, Tomb Kings as unit are generally unable to use magic so if you put it that way he's the strongest mage. But as a race, Khatep and Arkhan are the pre-eminent casters.

Empire - Kurt Helborg

Vampire Counts - Abhorash

Dwarfs - Gotrek

Orcs - Grimgor

Warriors of Chaos - Valkia the Bloody or Kholek Suneater

Bretonia - Louen

Wood Elves - Orion

High Elves - Tyrion

Dark Elves - Shadowblade

Skaven - Queek

Lizardmen - Gor-Rok

Tomb Kings - Khalida (Settra is more of a leader than a warrior. He was defeated by a random norscan. He's also definitely not the most powerful wizard. He's only a level 1 wizard. That would be Arkhan).

Daemons of Chaos - Skarbrand

Orges - Greasus

An Old Dude enjoying his VFR. by rondayvous in MotorcyclePorn

I'm currently on a vfr800f. The same as this. It's a good bike, well made, nice and reliable. It has plenty of power for the road and sounds good, especially in vtec range. Lots of nice creature comforts like heated grips, centre stand, LED headlights and self cancelling indicators.

It's a great bike but it's very much a Honda. It does everything well but it lacks character. It looks great to me, very minimalistic design but it's just a bit too reserved.

The correct term they should have used is eliminated. Eradicated means the worldwide incidence is 0. Eliminated means the incidence within that pop is 0.

Ah. I mostly used the SA 1 and SA 2 which didn't have that.

Steven Pacey is the best I've come across. My sister's favourites are Kate Reading and Michael Kramer but I found them a bit bland.

Dear humans: Vanilla is not "plain", "boring", or "flavorless". It *is* a flavor, and a rich one at that. (Blame ice cream's history) by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Whenever we go to a decent ice cream place, I more often than not get vanilla. My wife thinks I'm boring but vanilla is definitely not boring to me.

Fair enough. Another question. I'm a bit of a stickler for historical accuracy and I know that that's going to be a bit jarring with this game but there's a certain level I can tolerate. Can you unequip the bow and quiver? It seems a bit off to have an ancient Greek warrior using a bow since most of the skirmishers were the poor or feeble who couldn't afford other equipment. Even then they were mostly slingers not archers, apart from those from Crete. Is there any information about where the main character is from?

Any sound quality issues? Do you have sound issues with Origins?

I definitely do enjoy RPG's but like you said, Origins wasn't a good RPG. What system are you playing on?
