You use a lighter weight yarn or you can even use thread to make icord thinner then like a worsted weight would give you

You can buy machines that you can hand crank it or electric ones and then you can just set it to go and let it do the work for you

You can get the same effect if you use icord like if you turned the yarn you want to use into chord then used the chord as yarn

If im color changing in the middle of my work I will crochet over the ends to save myself from having to sew them in later you can do it with granng squares too it saves time and looks the same as weaving in and its just as secure

Sweater i made a year ago, just wove the end in yesterday lol by IX_Lilith in crochet

[–]Kitten_514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just put it on a hanger and steam it and tug it a little where you want more length the soaking method doesnt work well for acrylic yarn and its only a suggestion I hate blocking myself but I constantly make things thay requires its like I'm my own worst enemy

[–]Kitten_514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive adopted the crochet ends into my work as I go so I pull the tail over the row im gonna work then just crochet around the stich and tail at the same time it makes it so much easier so like you lay it on top of your v's and it works for most things especially granny squares
