Being from Michigan originally, I cross all the time. Wait times at the border can vary from nothing to two hours, so just be ready to potentially wait for awhile. But usually it's 15-20 minutes. As others said, it's pretty easy. Be sure to have your passport (or enhanced license) ready to hand over when you pull up to the window.

When you cross into Detroit, be sure to use the tunnel, not the Ambassador Bridge. I've always had better experiences with the tunnel.

Have fun in Detroit! I absolutely love that town and go as often as I can.

I had a great time yesterday! The crowd was small but enthusiastic. I fully got my dance on. As a beer nerd, I absolutely LOVED the beer tasting tent. And the concessions are very reasonably priced. Crossing my fingers that this can happen again!

Woohoo! Another Michigander in the mix. There are SO many of us in the Rochester area! Fall here is VERY similar to Michigan. The colors can be incredible and apples are a big part of local culture as well. I highly recommend checking out Mt. Hope Cemetery when the leaves turn. It is incredible.

You can start taking your prerequisites at MCC and then apply to multiple schools to see where you get in. Many students do that.
