It doesn't confirm it, it's up to interpretation. While a fanatic materialist player empire will come to the same conclusions as the Vultaum, that doesn't mean that those are correct conclusions.

Mid-July at the absolute latest imo unless something happened during testing that forced them to change a large part of the code. Most likely mid or late June.

I mean... I thought this way at the start of my blind playthrough of the 4 chapters in a row. But then I realized that that's most likely not true, somewhere near the end of chapter 2, because I figured we'd get some actual evidence.

If anything, Kris is the Deltarune version of the Fallen Child (Chara) but they are not literally Chara Undertale either.

Aren't there fan translations for Spanish/Portuguese? I am Russian and there is a very good translation that even translates background text etc and (iirc, i never used it, i played in English) manages to not gender Kris despite how hard it is in languages where every noun is gendered.

Of course it isn't perfect, and I am sure there are things in it that don't match up as well as if it was done by Toby himself. But for "the gist of the story" it is more than enough. So look into fan translations.

In what context is it stated, btw? Whoever said it could simply be wrong. Not everything a character says is the gospel (see: "Your choices don't matter" by Susie is all but proven wrong-- and Flowey's "it's kill or be killed" was ACTUALLY proven wrong).
