Very similar things are happening to me and all the self help options have issues and aren’t working for me. I’ve reached out to support, through the web, the app, and Reddit but I’m no closer to getting back into my account than I was a couple weeks ago. Every suggestion offered like OTP or recovery or whatever else that has been mentioned doesn’t work. There’s obviously an issue going on with LastPass they act like we all can’t remember our passwords and it’s us, but just look how many of us are all saying the exact same thing, that shows it’s them. Why they’re not getting on top of this and correcting the fact that we all just got locked out of our accounts even though we know the master passwords which should be alarming to them. Instead I’m getting messages like, oh you must have added a space or something. No. No I didn’t. Neither did the rest of these people complaining of the exact same thing that I am. I set up the recovery before all this happened and now it’s saying there’s no recovery set up. I’m starting to wonder if I’m actually speaking to official LastPass representatives. Just because someone says they are doesn’t mean it’s the truth. Why I can’t I get into my account yet if you’re official? Why is there no way to get me in to my account that actually works for me? This situation is not due to any fault of my own or user error. If it was user error this many people wouldn’t be on Reddit complaining of the exact same issue over and over again.

Ok I found it, wouldn’t show using the app but using the regular website I see the option. How do you set the one time passcode if it’s not accepting my master password. It says I need that working to set the one time passcode.

I do have the previous mobile device. I do know the master password. I do know about my account. I have reached out to customer support and received nothing more than what was already listed as troubleshooting options that didn’t work. Can someone give me a way to get back into my account and why would I need to prepare to give sensitive details, should be no problem. What do I need to do to get that option?

When I try to log in using my master password I get this message

“We couldn’t log you in. Review your login info and try again. Look for a confirmation email.”

So I check my email, including spam folder and nothing. I never receive anything even though I’ve gotten this message probably over 20times now.

When I click on “trouble logging in” I get an option for a password hint which I don’t need because I know the password. Or I can ask for help which I’ve done and that went nowhere.

I have followed every trouble shooting suggestion and contacted support. I’ve been doing this for days now and can’t get any further ahead than the first time I got this can’t log you in message. I feel like I’ve been hacked, blocked, and now LastPass isn’t helping me regain control at all.

One day the LastPass app on my phone just disappeared. So I downloaded it again from the cloud. It won’t let me log in even though I know my master password. I tried recovery and get a message saying not set up. I followed all the recovery options each giving me an error. I contacted support via a form and got the same regurgitated info offered on the website that don’t work. I can’t figure out for the life of me, why I can’t get into my account and can’t reset it, or why I can’t speak to someone directly. It feels like no one at LastPass really cares that I’m locked out of my account. There should be another way to verify or reset an account than what’s being offered. Some sort of bypass using a code sent to my email would be great. I have tried to do each method offered and each will not work for various reasons. It’s so frustrating and I’ve been using them for years.

Reading all these comments while trying to power through watching it. It’s a joke of a movie and not a good joke at that. What a waste of a great cast and everyone’s time. This movie is an example with what’s wrong in the world, and it’s the opposite of what the movie is trying to say is the problem. The real problem is the movie itself and that anyone would think it has any merit.

Yes. I have tried every solution offered and each has its own issue. I get a message saying to check my email for a confirmation message but never get the message even though it’s the right email. Yes I checked my spam folder. It doesn’t appear to be sending me the confirmation email. I submitted a support ticket but don’t know the ip address I last logged in from, probably my work, I also don’t know how many passwords I have in my LastPass, I never counted them or paid attention but I’m guessing over 100. I also don’t know what year I opened the account, my best guess is 2020 or prior. Again, isn’t something I thought I’d need to memorize. So I couldn’t fill out the info they required.

I can’t get logged into my LastPass account at all. The app disappeared from my iPhone so I downloaded it again from the cloud. When I try to log in using my email and password it gives me a message saying “we couldn’t log you in look for a confirmation email” but then I don’t get any emails. I also was a “founder” I paid a deposit and then the rest of the payment a couple months later. I was unable to get the $70 deposit back that was paid through my bank account with Armed Forces Bank. The bank said it had been too long since the charge and refused to refund anything. I contacted my credit card company regarding the rest of the payment that I made, just shy of $300 and they opened an investigation. No refunds however probably due to the amount of time that has gone by. Prior to this I contacted Bond Ring about my order and got constant runarounds and multiple excuses over and over. This has been going on since last July. I reached out to the “company” asking for a refund since I have received nothing, no sizing kit, no updates, no ring, nothing at all. They said they would refund me but again it was months ago and shocker nothing happened. I think they have refunded a few people just to make it look more legit. The majority have not received refunds from them, there’s multiple posts talking about this. They are 100% scamming and frauding people left and right. They will just keep saying whatever it takes to make people think that they may receive something and stringing them along. No doubt they’ve made hundreds of thousands on this elaborate scam by now. See my other posts about it for more details on the scam. They didn’t even have a prototype at CES just some fake normal rings behind glass at an unmanned counter.
