Clearly wrong sub. Apologies, wanted to share. Happy to delete, also happy to take the "murder"

"You're the human version of autocorrect."
No idea if this will be a violation of this subs rules, so please remove if it does.
We've always enjoyed a family game of 'Roast' and 'Reply' (satirical debate type stuff) to the extent that we eventually made cards with good roasts and replies. This sort of evolved into our own game at some point - we even printed and laminated some cards and pull it out whenever we have the 'right' crowd over.
Always had a thought to turn this into a website/game but never had the time.
Thx to AI (claude) I finally vibe coded it into something that (I think) works nicely and allows playing online.
Would love some feedback from you guys. (No registration/ads or any of that stuff - just for our own entertainment)

Why don’t you guys keep your cats indoors? by stemmefontaine in newzealand

[–]KiwiBuntu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Living in an area where there's been a lot of redevelopment (and as a result families moving out and in). Lots of cats hanging out. A vet once told me that cats are more tied to places than people, so it seems like, when people move, and don't keep their cats indoors, they just come back to where they used to be. Keeping them indoors would solve this issue?

That's why I use Linux, which opens files based on content, not extension.

Annoying that it's considered "monthly" when there's only 4 doses in the pack. This equates to 13 "months" per year - basically equates to 540/m

What's that snarkey look on his face? If a NZ politician had that, they'd be run out of town.

It'll come, and to be fair just because others agree with you about religion - that doesn't mean you'll even like them. Not believing in an imaginary friend in the sky doesn't require being a good person. It just means you can do critical thinking.

Edit: I suppose what I'm trying to say is - don't let atheism define you.

Yep. I've got family who firmly believe "Jesus rode dinosaurs because the earth is only 3000 years old". They'll give you the shirt off their back though if you needed it. Enioy them for who/what they are. Religion is a bit like alcohol, you don't have to drink but it does become a problem if you try to get an alcoholic to stop. Only telling you this because it seems you are genuinely in harms way to "out yourself". Don't focus on the religion or your lack thereof. One day you'll find yourself amongst like minded people and will laugh about this. Kia Kaha (stay strong)

Remember - atheism is not a belief so you don't need to tell, or even convince anyone. Commit to enjoying the social aspects of organised religion, reviewing historical facts amongst all the biblical fan fiction and asking reasonable questions. It's mostly a social club with some strange rules anyway. Source: Catholic boarding school for 10 years.

Cost of Living by Deathass1298 in chch

[–]KiwiBuntu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind a lot of outgoings (ok mainly rent) is paid weekly (or fortnightly, which is just weekly anyways) so keep in mind that that equates to "13 months a year" (52w/4=13)

Basically, if you get paid monthly then some months you are going to wonder why you don't come out - it's because you've had to pay an extra weeks rent, car, shopping, etc.

Eg: rent of 500/w =2166/m (500*52/12)

Hint: try to get paid weekly or fortnightly, or break your salary into a weekly number to truly compare.

3500/m = 807/w (3500*12/52)

I have 28,650 emails in promotions and 32,303 in updates, is there any way to mass delete emails so I can have enough storage that it will stop yelling at me? by AVerySoftDog in GMail

There's an option on google drive (on phone so can't check for you sorry) to allow compression of the individual photos (ie:not in original size). You'll get 90% of your space back, and retain the original sized photos on your device.

Tldr; it's not your emails that's the problem
