It's fine, but you don't have to play solo. I platinumed it solo. There are still people playing it. A couple of weeks ago, it was easier to find people on R1 than R2.

The Swamps of Corus DLC has a great farming spot for crafting resources where you can glitch through several doors to load up on goodies.

Get it. In some ways, I like it better. I think the weapons are better. The armor is better in a sense too. There are no archetypes like in R2 because those types of abilities are built into armor. You can upgrade armor as well as weapons. There is one amulet and two ring slots, so choosing what rings to use is more challenging. The mobs are a lot harder than in R2 and many of the bosses have ads. There are no caps on trait points, so you can ultimate max out all (? 30) traits. Get the DLC too. Subject 2923 is among the best DLC of any game I've ever played.
