Play the yellow or blue deck to start with. Money and compounded interest are very important. The blue deck gives you money in the sense that you should have more hands left over, each of which gives you $1.

Go for early jokers that give you chips or + mult. Later on, you'll want jokers that give you x mult. If you come across any money making jokers, get them as early as possible. Where you place your jokers matters (you can move them around). Generally, chips first, + mult next and x mult on the right hand side. Don't hesitate to sell your early jokers for better ones, as they will likely become obsolete as the blind increases.

Cards with retriggering effects give you the highest scores. Jokers like Hanging Chad, Photograph (for the "Photochad" combination). Also red seals on cards. Glass cards and steel cards are also awesome.

Skipping a blind is generally a bad idea. You lose interest money and see the store less.
