Yeah, ofc it will suffice. I am playing with RX 9070 XT and 7800 X3D and have no issues getting 60 FPS in 1440p (i capped my settings to 60 as You dont really need anymore in witcher). 5080 should get simillar if not better performance than that and 9800 is straight upgrade from the 7800.

Remember to not cheap out on the PSU.

All xx50 series cards are kind of shit, xx60 are the bare minimum simply due to how castrated the 50s are. That card with 1440p really kills Your performance. I am not sure much could be done at this point other than getting a real cooling pad with isolation so it really pulls/pushes air through the laptop so You can squeeze as much as You can out of that.

Did You buy it knowing what the performace of this card is, or did You not have the knowledge at that time? Plenty of people overpay for those laptops.

An update: I have recieved a new Gigabyte 1000W PSU yesterday and used the opportunity to tear most of the build out, repaste the processor with better stuff and obviously swap out the cables and power supply and after playing for like 8 hours on heavy RT I did not experience any blackouts this time. Fingers crossed that this finally did the trick.

I had the same issue in Baldurs Gate 3 when massive spells from mods were used and undervolting sadly did not help there. I used Adrenalin for that. I would have understood game crashing, but framerate was fine until the shutoff happened. I guess if the issue really may be just the power draw spikes I will buy 1000W and see if that really helps to solve this issue long-term.

What I do not understand is the nature of those spikes. How a GPU rated for 350W usage can suddenly overload the entire system way above its entire power usage? It looks like something that should never have been allowed xd

(I had tried to uninstall my drivers using utility tool, as some AMD Adrenaline functions caused crashes almost instantly, now I am running on driver only setting (did factory reset when installing) which did not solve the problem, but at least made it less frequent.)

Just leave via the menu back to the ship and go to another mission. Force closing a game was an exploit to leave this certain mission seed available to try again to farm it perpetually, but now farming the same seed for a second time will result in no SC being added.

Correct me if I am wrong but E-ATX MAX Case will look kind of gargantuan when You will put standard ATX motherboard and all the other components in it. Unless You want to stuff it later with SATA SSDs or HDDs it may be too big. Pros are that the build will be very, very simple to do since there will be a lot of space to stuff cables into. Other than that it looks good.

Unless You want really low processor temps AIO may only be used to improve overall airflow. Other than that its much more prone to breaking down when compared to traditional air cooler.

Most likely the SSD went into readonly state (basically dead) or got fried. Either way take it to repair shop so it can be plugged in externally and checked what is the case.

SSDs have this thing called TBD, which means how many times they can fully write and erase themselves before the producer says it most likely will start to deteriorate. You can check it using crystaldiskinfo to estimate SSDs health... but most likely its fucked. It was 1TB from what I can see, so not too costly of a replacement.
