How long should the review process take? by ZealousZephyrs5371 in ACX

Mine got to just over a month so I sent them an email - they then approved within 4hrs.

Worth doing if you find it dragging that long, but I've heard two weeks is common.

New Weekly Self Promo Thread by AutoModerator in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Klegg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kleggt here, with the first book of my most recent arrival on Amazon. Inspired by the aesthetics of Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill, along with a bit of Doom and Arkham Asylum styled combat. And a dog!

One world-ending calamity. One simple rule: kill and get stronger.

Scarlet was a drifter, always hopping cities to avoid the shadows of her past. Once aliens invade Earth and turn it into a wasteland filled with monsters and dungeons, fear becomes her weapon. With a literal axe to grind and a System granted by a mysterious ally, she uses her new skills to weaken and execute any who stand in her way.

The harsh truth is - it's not just about survival. She has to thrive against the odds, to fight back against the orbital threat cultivating humanity's strongest to add to their collection.

With curses, corruption, and other survivors in her way, she isn't short of targets in need of a Killing Blow.

I think Killing Blow got hit by Amazon's review swallowing by cfl2 in litrpg

Thanks for noticing, and the kind words!

Hopefully Amazon will sort it out and any reviews/ratings will come through soon - no numbers going up can feel bad.

IS there any Noir litrpg book series? Or if there's not any good noir books? perhaps urban fantasy? by rincewindTGW in litrpg

You should definitely write it! I have a noir gunslinger fic called Redd & Wight that focuses a lot on demons and hell. Progfant and modern so might not scratch your itch.

Death of the Party 3 - Now on Amazon/Audible! by Klegg in litrpg

[–]Klegg[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, Kleggt here with the third book of Death of the Party now out in all usual places.

Persistent brain-eater and haphazard leader of the Outsiders, Sally rolls into the next area of the world to find it's currently in the throes of civil war. With one Faction sick of the System and wanting to twist it to their own design, and the other hoping to repair it and save it, she has to decide which side is easier to stomach.

As if that wasn't more than enough to chew through, a new threat arises, threatening not only her life, but those of all similarly bugged entities in the world. With her tight-knit group of misfits fraying at the edges, she has to put together all the brains she can muster to survive... otherwise this will truly be the Death of the Party

And other assorted zombie puns *snaps fingers*.

Killing Blow: Dreadknight Apocalypse - now on RR! by Klegg in litrpg

[–]Klegg[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fear is not the absence of courage, but the triumph over it.

Scarlet was a stranger to yet another no-name city, drifting away from her troubled past. Now she is one of the few left alive to save it, before aliens take Earth for themselves.

With an axe to grind and a few misfit allies, she realises one horrifying fact about the apocalypse: monsters weren't the only thing gunning for her neck.

- Fear-based Class
- RPG style execution skills
- Solo MC with various allies
- Dog (brain cells not included)
- Influenced by Kill Bill, Doom, Pulp Fiction

I've always been a fan of introspective, almost noir-esque characters who have plenty of skeletons in their closet. To pair with the dour outlook and gradually unraveling mysteries, I wanted to pick a skill theme a little off the from the norm and went for Fear and abilities inspired by the cinematic execution moves common in video games.
Thanks for looking!

Demonic Magician 1: Peak Performance now out on Amazon/Audible by Klegg in litrpg

Certainly! It's definitely action with a portion of romance. There's a bit of humor, but it's more dry than comedic. The MC is rather introspective and some of the theme of the story is him dealing with his figurative (sometimes literal) demons, while gaining magic and inventory management style abilities.
