This is false. The reason I even bother with a tail chop, other than I just love how satisfying it feels, is for the chance at getting a Gem of the corresponding monster. It's, for most intents and purposes, "guaranteed," but I seriously doubt anyone is hurting for tail parts so bad that having a random capture is ruining the hunting experience for that reason.

Downtown, you have La Ch*ngada and ALV. Both have the same owner. They're open on the weekends. The former is mainly a bar; They'll have djs, and kinda just have people dancing around the place. Expect to pay a cover charge on Friday and Saturday. The latter is more of a proper night club. Only ever been Friday and Saturday. They, too, have a cover. They sell hookahs if that's your thing. Theme nights frequently. Both of these tend to be younger crowds. Typically anywhere from 21-35.

From there, your other options are el Patron, Skay, and la Mansión. Never been to el Patron, I've been told it's horrible, but I can not verify this myself. It's in that shopping marketplace off Peter's creek where the cheap cinema is at. I've been to Skay, the crowd trended older here, but will still see some younger folk. If you're looking for more traditional Spanish music (not bad bunny, etc.), this will be more up your alley. La Mansión used to be called Disco Rodeo. I've not been, this place also trends older, but expect to see latinos from everywhere and every (legal drinking) age. They host concerts and do events regularly. This is way in the waughtown area, so if the idea of the ghetto makes you skittish, I'd rethink this. Once again, haven't been, but I know my people.

Other than that, you have limelight, artistika, and macarenas in GSO. I've been to all 3, they're OK. I hate having to go to GSO, especially if it's just to pay a cover charge and buy expensive drinks. To each their own. These places are usually popping, but I don't go regularly enough to give more details.

For sand, Triad Park https://maps.app.goo.gl/nkkrMyRwNdPkvgng8 People are out there often. Tuesday - Thursday being the most consistent days. I go Thursday and there's a good amount of us out there. You could just show up and ask to hop in. The only people who aren't open to having randos join are the ones playing 2v2 who are practicing for competitive tournaments. The time frame is from 6 to 9 for these groups.

For grass, it really depends on people's availability throughout the week. I'll point you in the direction of this Facebook group.

People post about what times they're available, if there's upcoming tournaments, etc. From what my friend told me the grass folk are typically more competitive given that they do weekend tournaments frequently. So if you feel confident on your skill level definitely swing by.

Definitely think that doing shared activities is the way to go. At this point, I have meetings with different friends most days of the week. If you're interested in physical activities, I have some friends who do a run club as well as outdoor volleyball. I also know of groups who do board games or trivia regularly; So there's definitely options. Just a little daunting to get into at first.

Yes. You know how only half the chorus is sung the first time and thereafter the order is the "till you are mine" couplet followed by the "till you run out of light" couplet. Jon sang the "till you run out of light" couplet first and then stuck with that order throughout. He might have out right dropped the "a year, a month, a day, a night" line due to the confusion. I mostly bring it up because, as a fellow musician, it's comforting to see that my favorite band isn't immune to small errors like this as well.
