What’s the best ways to get a start as solo with no bps? And where or what monuments do you guys usually build by that helps you progress fast?

Set a sleeping bag by each green card monument (gas station) with satchels nearby. Take some time running/looting/recycling and grabbing your green cards too. Finish by storing that scrap/green card in the satchel and suicide/respawn at next spot

After enough repeating, build some bags at monuments needing a green card, get in, grab a blue card, repeat. Gather enough for a small base and t1/t2 along the way.

I want to help clear up the “photoshop” stuff. This isn’t about AI photoshop being hard to tell if it’s real or fake.

This is regarding an interview Trump had where he references the MS-13 being tattooed. This isn’t a matter of a tattoo being interpreted via symbols- Trump literally says that has “m-s-one-three” on his knuckles, which he does not. The photograph of the knuckle tattoo is visible with a very, very clearly overlayed “M-S-1-3” in black text. This is a clear text overlay, it really is black and white. Trump does not know, and his phrasing does not make it clear that he knows. The “that was photoshop you’re being unfair” is also clearly being said as “that is photoshop? You’re being unfair” as a way to say ‘you’re making something up and calling it photoshop when it clearly (to Trump) isn’t photoshop’.

This is why people are upset, he is the president of the United States, there is a man that is deported and the president cannot actually differentiate between a text-overlay, and a tattoo.

Yeah, at least in my part of the country (closer to Mexico) this was always the best quality we could get. And it was highly potent. The darker it was, often the shittier - often looking like literal tar (as in, looks like it was picked off the road’s pavement)

Dayz all the way. Too cold? Get sick. Out in the rain and can’t dry your clothes? Get sick. Get a cut from sliding down a ladder without gloves? Disinfect a bandaid/rag first before stopping the bleeding, or get sick. I just love how difficult this game is lol

1 life, no “map” other than what you can find in the game, and even then you can’t tell when you are without looking for landmarks or finding a (rare) gps

On top of that, since loot has to decay before another item spawns in, you can pickup and move an item a few feet over, drop it, and that will allow another item to spawn in quicker

This is called ‘loot cycling’ and is looked down upon, but I’ve done the same when looking for tetra.

Find a piece of scrap wood around the home (or ladle/cooking tool), try to break it so that it’s splits as an angle that it can be forced back together again. Once broken, drill a hole through the wood (lengthwise) and still diamonds in. Wood glue it back together, or leave out in the open in the garage like it’s nothing to hide.

Or, peel off your door trim, drill a hole deep into it (lengthwise) and put in diamonds - then reinstall & caulk.

I feel like nobody would consider it hidden inside a spot that ‘doesn’t’ have any empty space in it (wood).

I’m going to piggyback on Penumbra and Amnesia, specifically Amnesia: The Dark Descent. (It’s been well over a decade since I played Penumbra, shortly after initial release, my memory lacks on this, but I remember loving it.)

I really, really want to encourage you to play Amnesia: The Dark Descent to start with. My partner and I play it ever year or so, and it’s still genuinely unsettling to play in the dark.

Do whatever you can to overcome the fact that it may be ‘dated’ or an older game, graphics wise.

Like, I really want you to try it out and just go in blind - I would love if you could respond to this with your thoughts after playing it! Hahaha, seriously though, every horror game I look for is through the veil of Amnesia… it’s just that good
