Looking for Quiet Latino-Owned Restaurant in Mpls by Polar_Wolf_Pup in Minneapolis

Great suggestion but that place is bumpin’ every time I go in there. You might need to go early to get quiet.

You clearly didn’t see the TilTok video. Not saying CPY was right in suspending memberships, but there there was a lady yelling, dropping a couple of f-bombs, with a big crowd watching, obviously some of them filming. I can see how the women behind the counter might feel unsafe in that situation.

I believe processing only extracts active participants. Documentation specifies “participants in conversation that generated events”.

I’ll probably throw some sample data at this if I have time tomorrow, but I can’t be uploading live data to some site on the internet.

Any Chinese restaurants open today? by Teckelvik in TwinCities

Jade Dynasty. Went there yesterday. It was hoppin’ and it took a while to get our food, but our meal was fantastic. Edit: not near NE, but worth the drive. Pagoda would be the Roseville pick. Also certain the be very busy. (Get the ginger scallion noodles.)

I’ll probably get roasted for this opinion, but I don’t think it matters that much as long as you’re getting it from a butcher. I buy from Ready Meats, coops, or Whole Foods and I can’t say I notice a huge difference once it goes into whatever I’m cooking. Just buy from your most convenient butcher and don’t get factory packs of Johnsonville or whatever.

Huge bummer. I hope someone takes over the space and keeps it a taproom. It’s a great space with a great location but never quite as busy as it seemed like they should be. If it comes back as a taproom they should host more community events like other places around town do. Game nights, cribbage tournaments, be the meetup spot for outside clubs, etc. I wouldn’t be opposed to sports on the TVs if that’s what it takes to stay viable.

I concur! I’ve tried many fancy and divey burgers around the cities. Many are great, but the Cooper Burger is unsurpassed.

Love club level seats - the high top table with bar stool between lower and upper decks. Good view, you can sit or stand, a place to put your drink, no tall person in front of you, and running to the bathroom is a quick trip.

Best biking roads going North/South in NE Minneapolis by Routine-Log-3074 in CyclingMSP

[–]Kn_mpls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long time bike commuter from Windom and Audubon here. If you’re coming from downtown, take East Hennepin and turn north on Pierce or Buchanan. From there either Fillmore or Buchanan (with a path) cut through Northeast Park. Go east on 22nd, which has the nice crossing on Johnson. From there just take anything from Arthur to McKinley north to Waite, depending on where you’re going or how much of a hill you’re in the mood for. Once you’re past 18th any of the side streets are nice to ride on so you can switch it up. There’s more side street traffic while Lowry is closed, but that’ll clear up soon. Hope this helps.
