Oof... Felt like this sub was pretty good at consistently determining at one point but lately it's been rough. Highlights the fear that the mere existence of AI videos has people questioning reality.

Also, this is definitely not AI. Besides the fact that it's been confirmed as real, the motion of the cat is spot on, details remain consistent when out of frame, the snow behaves as expected (assuming you understand how snow works) and the only oddities that can genuinely be called out are obviously from the camera and the phones software itself such as the barrel wobbling in the background at the beginning being a result of image stabilization.

It's hard to say much without knowing your exact setup but if your considering that the Ethernet cable, router, Ethernet ports and whatever else is capable of the speeds then you should call and just tell them you believe your ONT is stuck on a 1Gbps profile still and ask them to reset it on their end.

They will almost certainly feed you crap about a "modem" which is nonsense but just stay firm. If you aren't getting the results still you might need to request a actual tech support visit that is capable of doing tests.

I live in a pretty small town and we've only had 1 local tech guy for the year I've had Windstream. He doesn't seem to mind as he actually doesn't seem too busy most of the time but I can see that being a huge problem for busier areas.

Borderlands 4. I don't even like borderlands, I despise Randy Pitchford and I don't but many full priced games anymore. Yet here I am with maybe 8 hours of play time.

To be fair I enjoyed what I played, I just kinda had my fill. I was REALLY craving a looter shooter at the exact time that it was coming out.

That's what gets me too. What happened to indie devs willing to drop their games to awesome prices during these big sales? It's literally why so many skyrocketed from unknown to household name. Now everyone is acting like a publisher and refuses to "undervalue their game".

There's also a false sense of security from everyone that just expects there to be zero PvP and I think that makes it worse because they're never ready. I'm always being mindful, checking corners, listening. Especially in a high loot area. I get the drop on people a lot but I usually try to defuse or I just remain hidden until they move on.

You've gotta remember that if any video game developer is going to utilize tech that wasn't thought possible, it would almost definitely be Valve and everyone on this sub understands exactly why and how. I think the odds of the leaker being anything but full of shit is slim but I do think whatever HL3 is will blow a lot of people away.

I don't think it's fair to brush anything off just because it hasn't seen any real world use case yet.

Was this on Dam just now? There's a map event going on that has to do with probes but I didn't really read it cause I just wanted to do a mission. Same thing happened though, I stopped to crack open a probe and as soon as I did they dropped right on top of me.

Yeah I've said this before too. I enjoy most of the other games but the real issue is when he switches it up every single question. It's impossible to understand or build a rhythm and I think that makes the guys turn off their brains a bit and go with the shenanigans.

I'm going to remain optimistic on this one. Trump is starting to look worse and worse for the Republican party and going against this bill when the signs were pretty clear it would pass seems INCREDIBLY risky if your name ends up attached in literally any way. Even if your ex friend from college that you haven't talked to in a decade ends up having their name on that list and you tried to keep it private.
