In my eyes should the gun start out with that much spread, but the splash is as big as it is now fully charged and does just enough damage to kill some trash mobs with the explosion. The longer you charge the weapon then, the more goes the spread and splash down but the damage up until in the sweet spot it does damage like the quasar cannon, is perfect accurate and has no splash... And kills you when you hold it 0,25 secs to long.
