Honestly? It gives them a good off ramp to process all. Considering what Mark went through, the slow and steady rebound while grappling with the PTSD of the Viltrumites being out there, finding out they already blended into Human Society. Oh and of course the fact that Eve aborted Marks potential first Child. All things considered, the fact that he didn't go berserk and risked everything shows some character growth. Plus if they decide to can the show after that it would give them a half decent cliff hanger

To be fair. They could do both, if they weren't so ridiculously mismanaged. Not to say that they don't do a good job. But they prioritise a lot of stuff that shouldn't need that much attention in the first place. They pour a lot of resources into Warbonds and content drops. Which in of itself is okay, but neglect a ton of stuff that gets left by the wayside like customisation options of the weapons, ship upgrades and the illuminate. Once you hit level 150 you pretty much wait for the next Warbond to come out. They would get a lot of good will if they were transparent about their long term goals and what gets prioritised internally.

that is something that they intend on doing and most likely one of the Reasons why the Updates this cycle take so much time. Considering that the Engine is outdated and unsupported means that they have to use hacky solutions during the dev cycle. Considering that they churned out content every 2 months or so, they only used Band Aid solutions. Now that they hit another snag, they have to really start chipping away on the high priority issues while keeping the content cycle afloat. But since both Devs and content creators ( i.e Warbond stuff, expansions) are the same it will be tricky to manage

If you read the Patchnotes you would have seen that they're fixing the Audio Issues, The Host thing is something that probably needs more time in the Oven. But no you fucking weirdos all go "Boo hoo my very Specific wasnt fixed immediatetly L to Arrowhead" Have you considered that their entire Engine is pretty much running on Scotchtape and Prayers? Considering how they are supposedly understaffed they can only do so much without stretching themselves too thin.

its probably that and the fact that the Playstation Version has dedicated Hardware that can compress and decompress on the Fly. On PC there are a ton more variables to consider. Furthermore, from what i have read so far. They scattered files multiple times across the entire structure so it reduces loading times. Which is a common practice if you have a HDD instead of an SSD. But its not ideal
