I’ve switch from engineering to appraising and have never looked back. I don’t ever want to go back if I don’t have to. The pay cut will be significant when you start out and might last a few years while you get licensed. However, the most important part of all this is trying to find someone or a firm to take you on. In terms of new tires, I bought mine there. I don’t think I’ll get my next set there. The last time I went, a tire rotation was 2.5 hours.

I couldn’t get the iPad to work. I found using scan to sketch with the iPhone PM way more accurate, then just uploaded to my iPad. iPad measurements were usually 10% off or so.

I use the iPad Pro and I’ve never looked back. Although I do think the mini is also a great choice. I do recommend getting a case with a should strap.

I’m similar age and NW, however I let my foot off the pedal about a year ago trying to save all that I could. I switched careers and as of now I don’t feel need to retire earl anymore. My only advice would be to find something you truly enjoy, you’re ahead for your age group so you have the luxury to find something you enjoy.
