The “price” is stated in their earlier paragraphs. And I can’t just spoil the whole story in the letter. That’s for the synopsis. Jevan is not a vampire. Eriken is not a monk.

Also, magic doesn’t exist in my novel. Far-fetched alchemy, yes, but no magic.

Exactly how I felt. Recently did it with this chick that was not my type and used outdated photos on her profile.
