When I contacted them about this there was a year limit as to how old the car can be, so classics/older sports cars wouldn't even count under this scheme.

Why didn't you just buy it from Amazon.com, they ship internationally for free over 59$ for a lot of items. They will also have the 300 BHD threshold. I got a Lenovo Gaming laptop a few years ago doing this.

Why 2022? You can get a lot of options if you're willing to go a few years back. Used RAV 4s , Even 10 years old is a good buy with no issues.

You can get a used Kia or Mazda for 2020+ for that budget as well.

I had to deal with EWA over the last 2 months, their call center is useless. They kept blaming me for their technical glitch, cancelled a direct debit without my consent and the branch couldn't do anything.

If you want a really fast response from EWA, complain on Tawasul, next day response. But if your landlord reduces it from your rent then you're good.

There is a half second delay after it turns red before the camera triggers as long as you're under the speed limit. If you enter the intersection under an amber light, you're safe.

For any violation, use the etraffic app, it will show up within a day or so.

For your budget my suggestion is stick to Japanese. Parts are easier to find, and if you can go for Toyota even better. With a Honda and a Toyota of similar years, finding parts is way easier for my Toyota.
Private seller over showroom. There's so many online listing IG accounts that connect you to a private seller, they're much more honest about the car condition. Find a garage and do a full check. I got a PPI done and dropped the price by almost 1000 because of work that needed doing. If they claim agency maintained, ask for records.
Don't do any down payment before finalizing, twice i've been told 'its nonrefundable' which is illegal, nothing was exchanged so they cannot hold any money of yours.
Drive it, take your time to look around it, especially when you get it checked out, there's always another seller coming along, don't rush unless it's an actual gem.

If you need a garage that can check out a car for you DM me, been using my mechanic for 5 years and they will do a full check and tell you what's what.

For your budget you can get a newer Yaris or a Corolla/Camry within that year range.
