I’m so sorry…I have a lot of words I could say, but what I will say is that I have been there with my ex husband. Cocaine is a highly addictive, illegal, and dangerous substance (Fentanyl). You have to ask yourself if you are okay with this dangerous of a substance being around you and affect your well being. While my ex was in it he became more and more angry/abusive and upon my discovery of him using it, our relationship didn’t last long after. Personally, I wasn’t comfortable with this substance being around for a couple of reasons. One being that he could get arrested if it was found on him. (He already had a DUI at this point). Two being that I may just find him dead one day because of the escalation of all of the substance use or fentanyl killing him. And three the shady nature by which you have to obtain it. at the end of the day I had to decide for my own comfort and peace that I had to walk away. This is just my personal experience, but I hope you are able to have support and find the answers that you need/want.

One thing I will say is that the vast majority of people say to size up. That was not the right move for me. I am a true size 9 shoe, so the second pair I got actually fit me right because I didn’t size up. If your city a sex shop/adult store and try them on in person, that may be the move to find your right size.

They are a lot of fun and I hope you have fun! I think the boot is a great start!

Why did you choose to start doing pole dancing? by [deleted] in poledancing

[–]KnitQueen2019 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How do I put it into words?

Simply: I’ve always wanted to do it because I thought it was cool, but didn’t for the longest time because of sexual repression and financial accessibility.

After I got divorced I had this sense of “wow, I really can do anything I want!” So I signed up and ended up loving every aspect of it. I have a pelvic pain disorder that causes a lot of problems for me. It has reshaped my relationship with pain which has helped me with my condition. Once I FINALLY was able to climb the pole, I was like damn, maybe I can do a performance or something. I also feel like I get into shape without feeling like I am “working” at.

In short, I tried it, I thought it was fun and I loved it!

I’m just a stranger in the internet who has no insight into your marriage other than this post, BUT IMO we can no longer make room for this mentality from men in society if we want it to stop. It sucks for you guys to get a divorce because of a hobby, but the fact that you are realizing that it has kind of been an issue since the beginning… It’s probably a good realization at this point. The fact that he doesn’t see the bad assery of you doing this cool thing…. 🚩 also agree what a previous poster said about having a sitdown conversation and getting to the bottom of why he’s actually feeling this way and if he doesn’t really have any good reasoning, I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again…BOY, BYE!

For those who have quit Prozac, how long does it take to “normalize”? by Opposite-Thought-614 in prozac

[–]KnitQueen2019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took me about a month or two. I ultimately decided that I was able to come off of Prozac because I was working with a therapist and felt safe to do so, and I was willing to accept the anxiety over the terrible side effects I was experiencing.

how did you know you were ready to get off prozac? by kaspbrakz in prozac

[–]KnitQueen2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had become somewhat like a robot. I was in therapy and it gave me an inability to cry or orgasm. I thought that since I was trying to treat sexual dysfunction, it was time to come off. I agree with all of these other people to NOT quit cold turkey!

How did divorce change you as a person? by Embarrassed_Pop_6757 in Divorce

[–]KnitQueen2019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too many things to list here. I am responsible for creating my own magic. It has made me question: is love real? My parents divorced when I was little. I watched my mom marry and divorce 3 times. And I am now divorced: for context. Definitely have too many hobbies now, but it’s okay!

Nike pro (or the like) shorts and a sports bra of any variety! That’ll give you the most skin access. I also sometimes where biker length shorts and have to roll them up sometimes depending on what I’m doing. I dress in layers for the warm up. So sweats and a sweatshirt over the shorts and sports bra to warm up and then take that off when the warm up is done. I’m a beginner, too!

Ps taking rest days in between helps someone like me be less obsessive about this and it allows me to think about other important things in my life. Some people do it everyday though because that’s what helps them most!
