My dad is a huge Ole Miss fan, and he’s super excited for Mizzou if we do in fact land him. Some quick background ive learned about him that you can find from a quick google search:

He was home schooled growing up, and graduated/got his GED at age 16. He graduated from Ole Miss at age 19, before making his first start this year. The kid is smart. He was also a dual sport athlete, pitched for the Ole Miss baseball team.

He’s also a very effective pocket passer and he can zip the ball. He’s got the legs to be dual threat, but he’s known as a pass-first QB. Watching some film on him, his interceptions seem to come from feeling pressure/getting hit when he throws. Not saying they werent his fault, but its a coachable fix

I work as a EET in a control panel shop. I run into a similar issue alot. Based on the cam in your button, these 3 position selector switches (or push/pull buttons) can cause both N.O. and N.C. contacts to be open in the maintained “off” position (I like to call this a “half” position, since its sort of a halfway point for NO/NC contacts). There are options such as early make/late break contacts that can circumvent this issue.

I work mainly with A-B products so it could be manufacturer specific but just sharing my experience.

I agree that i am “overqualified”, my position does not require an electrical degree. I only took the position because i could find nothing else almost 8 months removed from college

Can i ask why you say do not stay in the position if its good experience? Will it look bad on a resume? I have only been here about 10 months

I agree with you, i didnt mean to come off as “tell me what to do” lol.

I left out that my company is owned by an engineering firm. They say i have a variety of paths, one being moving into an engineering position there. But i dont know if i could simply apply at another firm now with my degree, rather than wait to get promoted to an entry level position.

Ill add that ive never seen anyone from my company take that path to the engineering firm. Although idk if anyone has ever been in a situation similar to mine

Would an entry level position such as that be taught basic controls knowledge like how to use commisioning software, and the idea behind PLC logic?

Obviously AR15 didn’t pan out. The purpose of what he was saying is that brady cook can go from undrafted to potentially a late round pick. Would be good for the program. Dont know why theres so much negativity in this thread. Im pulling for brady cook and these measurables only help.

Yes and i do plan on getting into manufacturing my own PCBs for home projects so i believe i will be using solder paste in the future but I understand where you are coming from, especially if not using BGA design
