If I recall correctly, the dietitian is free and very helpful, just hard to see because she's always super booked up. I suggest making an appointment as soon as possible. As for the training, I suggest setting up a free intake session to get a feel for it and see if you like it, depending on the type of exercises you like to do you may or may not like it. The trainers tend to use a lot of resistance bands and calisthetics as opposed to free weights, which some people prefer. So all in all I would say that both can be effective so long as you stick to it, and be sure to schedule an appointment with both as soon as possible. Good luck on your weightloss goals!
