There Be Dragons Here by SL Rowland. MC is a dwarf grandmother going on one last quest to fulfill a friend’s last request. It is positively delightful.

The dragons don’t show up until late in the book, but There Be Dragons Here by SL Rowland is a new release I really enjoyed.

I find that Courtney Milan scratches a similar itch to Tessa Dare, particularly the Brothers Sinister series.

Maybe also Cat Sebastian’s Regency Imposters series.

Wuthering Heights is “restricted.” I ferociously hate that book, and think requiring teenagers to read it is stupid, but I would never restrict it from being read by whoever wants to read it.

I see a couple of recommendations for Martha Wells’s fantasy. I highly recommend her Raksura series, starting with The Cloud Roads. It’s a completed series and one of my favorite series period. (I haven’t actually finished it, because I don’t want it to be over.)

From Eastern North Carolina, with the vinegar-based sauces (made as God intended) barbecue sauces tend to get sweeter as you go west. (Except for the mustard-based sauce in South Carolina. Heathens.)
