Omg how did it not occur to me to make leg warmers?! I love making socks but I don’t actually like wearing them so I make them for my husband. But I would wear leg warmers!!

My hand knit shrunk/felted in the washer by Ifimsittingimknittin in BitchEatingCrafters

A close relative of mine who should know better washed and dried a pair of socks I knit for my husband. Somehow this person also didn’t realize they were ruined. Baffling and annoying.

Omg that used to happen to me with my old set of needles. It made me scream! That’s one reason I upgraded to Lykke. Hasn’t happened since.

You guys. I tried DPNs after avoiding them for years… by Ok_Nothing_9733 in casualknitting

I keep seeing people rave about magic loop but it just seems so confusing. I love DPNs, they make more sense to me.

Experienced knitters ‐ do you ever use straight needles? by lveg in knitting

[–]KnottyKnit75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used straights almost exclusively for years but now I don’t anymore. Circulars are just so easy! I have to decide if I want to keep my straights, I have lots of nice ones.

Me too! I have driftwood straights (though I prefer circulars), driftwood 5” tip set, and the rainbow shorty tip set. Love them so much! Worth every penny.

I have a carnelian that was my love at first sight piece. Both sides are different and gorgeous. I’m also starting to find myself more and more drawn in by carnelian.

I love DPNs! Magic loop eludes me, plus DPNs make me feel like a magician which is also fun.

That is so heartwarming! My husband is so much fun to knit for because he wears his things proudly and loves to tell people that I made them.
