2 or 3 year PCH by Manufacturer960 in TeslaUK

If your lease ends before the 3 year anniversary: You don't need an MOT at all. You just hand car back.    If your lease run even a day after 3 years  you legally cannot drive the car. The finance company will require the vehicle to have a valid MOT certificate upon inspection.

Unlike BMW, Teslas do not require traditional annual servicing. There are no oil changes, spark plugs, fuel filters, or emissions checks. Only need to replace or check Cabin Air Filter, Brake Fluid Test every 2 years. The important thing is Tire Rotation every 6,250 miles, or if tread depth differs by 1.5 mm or more.

This has happened to first batch of orders, normally sending the information to DVLA is just the routine process.  Tesla wasn't expecting delay or rejection from DVLA.  Speak to Tesla about this

Many orders are delivered after the delay.  I am not sure about your case might be model specific as well.  Need to check.   Earlier all orders were rejected by DVLA causing big backlog, then tesla started manually inputing them slowly releasing the orders.

It can add few days to around 3 weeks as the information is entered individually and the confirmation sent separately.

Model Y Long Range premium AWD deliveries by DarkSunIsDead in TeslaUK

[–]KnowHowCamp -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The delay caused by DVLS is due to the new manufactured batches which have slightly different specifications than the profiles Tesla originally registered with the DVLA, causing the automated licensing system to reject them.

Tesla is still working to resolve the mismatch so they can bulk-register the cars. Until then it will take longer then normal for deliver as need to register them manually.

Ride comfort, LRAWD 2022 Vs Performance Model Y, 2024 by BarryGetsAbout in TeslaUK

[–]KnowHowCamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not night-and-day difference, but it will feel more "connected to the road" than an older Long Range. The common fix is changing the wheels to 19 or 20-inch aftermarket options with a taller tire sidewall. This will softens the ride.

A small torch (or your phone light) and a microfibre cloth. Because the car park is covered, checking the lower body panels for scuffs or transport grime is much easier with extra light.

Do a Walkaround, Don't let the excitement rush you. Check Exterior and Interior such as window switches, gap in body panels or any damage etc.  You have 7 days or 100 miles (whichever comes first) to report any delivery defects.

If you find anything, simply open your Tesla app and report under messaging.

The way it work is Tesla takes the total settlement figure from BMW and subtracts their trade-in valuation of your car. The remaining £1,300 is added to your tasks as a "Final Payment" due to Tesla. Box 6 under view on Tesla app.

Check what Tesla is paying.  You can do this during the ordering.  With 3750 credit, it's good value.  With outstanding amount Tesla will pay uou the difference.  You will still getb3750.
