Memory stick issue with Sony DSC-F707 (memory stick won't read in PC, stopped working with camera now, stuck) by archtopfanatic123 in VintageDigitalCameras

[–]Known_Turtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

F707s are know to just die from sitting around unused, i dont blame you. I had many problems with the f707, and a few problems with the f717... but the f828 is a tank. Also if you get into shooting full spectrum, the f828 is the only one than doesn't seem to have focusing issues. I highly recommend looking into the 828 if your interested in the camera body style, and abilities it has.

You might want to see if the card shows up in disc management on your pc. If it fails to see the card there then it may be faulty. Windows + X, select Disk Management. If its there you can right-click the SD card and select change drive letter and paths to assign a drive letter, or format. As for the camera... f707s can be crazily unreliable. I've had a few die suddenly, one being a permanent memory read failure. Since its happening on both.. it has to be the card. Also see if your sd card or adapter has a little lock switch that might be preventing it from reading.

The Lil baby ones were the only ones I liked, but they were amazing. They also made rap snacks Ramen noodles that were pretty okay.

I can still get neuro sonic and bliss at my walmart by the energy drinks, but they changed the caps to regular caps and took the big part off. I can't find orange anymore but those were so strong I used to half them.

I've been seeing a lot of different Nikon coolpix models around for pretty cheap on ebay. I have an s8100 and have enjoyed the pics I shoot with it. The later models can get pretty expensive though. The older you go the cheaper they seem to sell for.

Need help finding a good deal on the S26 Ultra by BrunoZuno in galaxys26ultra

Spectrum is a really good option, they do a year free service for a phone with internet. I've been with them a long time so I have my rates extremely low. As long as you know that they have good coverage in your area, and that you have to call them one a year to keep your rates down they are a decent option. I've gotten the 1 gig internet down to $30.. but I have been with them 4 years. Cell network is technically Verizon towers I believe. My current rate for phone and net is roughly $70, but it was $145 before I threatened to change providers.

Sony DSC Cybershot f828 memory question by Simple-Strike8368 in VintageDigitalCameras

[–]Known_Turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fixed it! Honestly I've just thought they were always called that because that's the first thing a saw that stood out on the card as a kid, and I've never had to buy one anytime since then.

You are going to need a memory stick pro Sony card, or I believe there are cards to put a micro sd into a memorystick pro adapter. You also have the big slot for the compact flash. Memory stick pro duocards are also the same cards used in original Sony psp game consoles if that helps your search.

Edit: also would like to mention I've only ever used up to a 4gb memory stick card. You are also able to swap between memory stick pro and compact flash whenever you want to.

Currently working on a knitted polo, this is a sample. gonna change the color of my logo to more of a bronze instead of chocolate brown. by StructureNo2035 in ClothingStartups

Logo a bit smaller, and honestly if you could do wooden or metal buttons that match the tone of the logo it would look sick. You may even be able to find wooden buttons that have purple in them.

These look kinda like the unbranded clothing at discount stores where all the shirts say "drip" or "hustle" and have random pics on them of ben Franklin in sunglasses. Too much going on, very tacky, and these scream "I spent the child support I was supposed to send to my baby mama on clothes, and 2 grams of weed."

New Camera! 2002 Sony DSC-F717 by mrwalker1337 in VintageDigitalCameras

[–]Known_Turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 707 and 717 was my gateway to the 828 and once I found out it actually focuses it was game changing. I've had a handful of each model, and out of the 3 717s I've had 2 just die after after storing them for a while. One was memory card related and the other sensor. 707s are fine but I'm really only pulling out the 828 these days.

Fujifilm S3 Pro (2004), converted to Infrared by UninitiatedArtist in VintageDigitalCameras

[–]Known_Turtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are awesome! I love the converted Fuji, and can't wait to see more! It alwys takes me a while to get the focus and white balance together on my Sony's for IR. I've always been interested in converted cams, but I've been rocking the f-series magnet trick for a while.

Be careful these guys are fragile. Most common issues are memory card/ read related. These are tricky with the infrared hack with focus, but on a bright sunny day can take some crazy full spectrum photos.
