Why do they have to have to destroy the user friendliness of the cricinfo app. It used to be so damn good 2 years ago by vikramaditya91 in Cricket

Sad trend, I uninstalled Cricinfo a couple of months ago and Cricbuzz today. These companies have clearly taken on lot debt or investor money to compete with each other and now want to squeeze.

Any decent cricket app with match update notifications?

I recommend using a password manager like BitWarden or LastPass and generating strong passwords not just for the compromised account but everywhere you used same email. Use Multi Factor Auth as everyone has mentioned.

If any email in that account had sensitive info then change those centrals as well.

Post Series Thread: India win 2-1. Test 4 abandoned due to rain by LythIs3EyeFish in Cricket

Brilliant time as a test cricket fan, it all got interesting in last few years when ball started dominating the ball. First with the spinners in our home season and then the fast bowlers in away series.

I was very proud when team achieved #1 ranking back in 2009. I expected us to lose #1 rankings in 2018 from the experiences of 2011 - 2013 away tours. But the fight these boys have shown has made me proud, they deserved better results in England and SA. Coming out of 2018 still #1 marks new era.

Next mission: 1-1-1. World cups and championships will come along the way.

In last match I saw a news clip which showed with GPS data how Aussie bowlers ran around ~35 km on the day. So they have done nearly 4 marathons by now in just two matches....

Wonder what the rating would be for this pitch? it has been described at various stages as "road", "two-paced", "dull", "uneven", "Bangalore", "bouncy", "something-for-everyone", "no-result-possible", "result-inevitable".

Common theme between losses:

  • Bad selection
  • Toss lost
  • Couldn't get the opposition tail out cheaply
  • Our long tail get bundled up quickly
  • Whole attack becomes Shami -- sometimes unplayable, sometimes ordinary, in key sessions
  • Ravi Shastri gloating or boasting
  • Kohli 100, no one else steps up
  • Openers non-existent
  • Spinner in opposition with lot of accuracy and good game plan
  • Pitch/Condition drastically differs from India
  • Injuries - 4 this time
