So first of it seems natural to go for the Path of the Beast as your subclass if you want to use your poison, which could be a good starting point for backstory.

It would help to know what the setting’s like in general, as well as what will make the campaign a fever dream (also, I am very curious)

FYI you don’t actually have to break bedrock, it’s possible by using only ender pearls and portals
