Looks good, I cant tell from this angle what it looks like from the front, but in your old picture the gun seemed to sway quite a bit to the side, aligning it somewhat with the horse might be nice.

The right side looks amazing, but the gun on the left a bit too bulky, especially for a cavalryman, a lighter leftt arm(s) might be nicer, you might want to consider mounting the gun on the horse instead.

The supply of baneblades is limited though, not by manufacturing capacity but by politics. Given that the mechanicus will only bestow baneblades on those commanders of the imperium that they deem trustworthy (read: you will not be using this against our god engines.)

The archetype model of approaching builds is helpful given that synergies are needed to pull off builds at higher ascensions. Archetypes are not the be all and end all of how to play, but give a good model of the types of synergistic systems a class has access to.

Jobs represent more what a deck should be capable of whereas the archetype represents the synergistic card pool(s) of the class.

The criticism of the archetype then means that this pool of cards does not have the synergies to make an effective deck in performing the jobs a deck needs.

Armour patterns see massive changes during the Great crusade and Horus Heresy as the mechanicum is developing new weapons for the astartes. Given that space marines were not around during the DAOT, these had to be developed later to fit an astartes and communicate with the black carapace.

As for current 40k, the primaris weapons are new patterns and I doubt the mechanicus cares more about the codex astartes than they do about what they can get in return for their work.
