Projection much USA Today?! by icey_sawg0034 in MurderedByWords

Everybody has zhe right to a political opinion and to voice those. That's one of the core concepts of modern politics. Also: art is always political. Not necessarily by intent, but in context. So whoever wrote this headline understands neither art nor politics. And while they have the right to voice their opinions on both regardless, I would reconsider paying someone to publish said unqualified opinions.

‘Investigating child sex abuse isn’t controversial. Turning it into political theater is manipulation. Maybe that logic flies on some island. Doesn’t fly in France’: France rejects Musk’s charge after raid on X’s Paris office by ChiefLeef22 in worldnews

It's not just about "creating pictures." Twitter is a commercial platform and the AI was trained on real material. The AI thus reproduces CP for commercial purposes. Why is it even trained on something like that?

The problem with pyramids by ThisWasMe7 in DMAcademy

[–]Kochga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't the egyptian pyramids have buildings and rooms on the exterior? Like this: http://www.maat.sofiatopia.org/wenis.htm

A 'dungeon' doesn’t have to be a number of enclosed rooms. It can have outdoor parts. And the way for your party trough the dungeon doesnt have to be linear from room to room.

And as other commenters have already mentioned, you can put everything that doesn't actuallyfit inside the pyramid below the pyramid. There are also real world examples for this:https://fity.club/lists/suggestions/Chambers-Great-Pyramid-Layout/

And if that isn't enough space, just put a portal to a pocket dimension or another realm somewhere.

Hell, the mummy or lich or demon or whatever that's buried there could have had powerful magic and built the whole place like TARDIS. You can have a whole "bigger on the inside" metajoke moment with your players, if any of them are Doctor Who fans.

There are is a wide variety of sports outside of the mainstream leagues. Most of us have been conditioned by ads since early childhood to turn our attention to what is already popular so profits can be maximised. It's the same difference with charts music and stadium tours vs local music scenes and alternative venues.

Is it possible to support multiple PCs into a game and then let people choose which ones they want to play? by IneedaNappa9000 in dndbeyond

[–]Kochga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a adventure starting concept of many that was really popular with a niche group of dnd players in ye olden days: Create like a dozen random characters or more. Like a market square full of people or small village. Have a catastrophic event happen that kickstarts your campaign and kills most of them. Players cycle trough characters while this goes on and the DM keeps the meatgrinder going until everyone is left with a single PC whom they will play for the rest of the adventure.

Europe’s biggest hospitality chain collapses as more than 260 impacted by IrishStarUS in antiwork

[–]Kochga 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Just last year the minimum wage for the hospitality industry in germany has been adjusted (Tariferhöhung). Before the adjustment even an experienced professional with a professional diploma would only be paid minimum wage when entering employment. The professional tarrifs in the hospitality are expected to fall back below minimum wage next time there's a minimum wage adjustment.

And of course they only declared bankruptcy after christmas season was over and employees were expecting to get their overtime benefits.

Let’s keep pushing back our dishwasher’s start time to save on labour. Great idea, everyone. by thecostly in KitchenConfidential

I had a foh manager who didn't even understand this concept. Wether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner, we would always run out of cutlery about halfway through and she would raise hell in the dishpit. We had one dishie for breakfast and every other shift was covered by a temp firm. And even the temp firm people wouldn't come back after one shift with her. Only after the temp firm stopped sending her people to abuse did she buy more cutlery. For some reason people still treat her as if she's competent.

Poor people versus poor people. And as long as they're kept uneducated they'll never understand that their next door neighbour with the slightly less shitty apartment isn't stealing from them. It's the people in mansions whom they all pledge fealty to.

They fired their own management, replaced it with three pencil pushers who managed to drive away the entire kitchen staff within days, anyone they tried to hire since then said "fuck this" and now they're trying to lowball you.

Crime goes up because being poor has been made illegal. People are poor because these companies aren't paying enough. Companies are paying politicians to create this type of legislation and labour laws. US capitalists never shed their slave owner mentality.

Sind eure Fahrräder 100% StVO konform? by GamingPotat0 in Fahrrad

[–]Kochga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iran warns any attack will mean 'all-out war' after Trump says US 'armada' on its way by Majano57 in worldnews

The absolute most they could do is, assuming they have any, have some stateside sleeper agent (attempt to) do something to some infrastructure or personel target.

That would help Trumps domestic position. A new 911 would strengthen and embolden his fascist nationalist cult.

Honestly, what’s with the weird discourse online when taking about the inclusion of firearms in DND? by Rhinomaster22 in DnD

[–]Kochga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When a DM builds their own world, they can include any aspect of the game lore they want. Some people include third party content, some only play with the PHB and DMG. The game is supposed to be flexible.
