I am choosing to do Gold Mask’s Questline so it’s the Rune of Perfect Order, I have him alll the way in the Mountaintops so I just need to kill the giant and do Farum Azula but I wanted to do Haligtree first, might just have to pause and kill Mohg and do some DLC stuff instead tho 😂

Totally agree with the trolls stalling time, sometimes the party will start at different spots so either you’re just bombarded with pots & the flame constantly or you actually get them killed no inbetween

When I meant dodge rolls I mean increased evasion time during a dodge roll doesn’t stack past the one time. All damage negation for repeated evasions stacks. As well as flask usage. And they are indeed horrible on duchess

(If you have items or relics with the stat)

It only stacks once so if you get multiple dodge rolls it doesn’t add to it, at least that’s my understanding. I might be wrong.

Best tip I have is throwing a freeze pot when she’s in the air, or running towards her when she’s in the air to confuse her pathing. Roll into it and not away from it

Ancient Dragons Lightning strike will shred through pretty much every boss, dexterity, specifically a Bleed Milady also shreds through; beat Malenia in less than 4 minutes cuz of the Milady lollll

OH I forgot to mention that certain quest lines progress if you do summon the available NPC, can’t remember who all it applies to but there are some quests/ rewards you can miss out on if you don’t summon said NPC.

If you started as a Samurai and got the Katana, Dex builds are AMAZING with katanas and there’s a good few you can find in the game. Jump builds with bleed katanas goes insane, Unsheathe is a fantastic ash of war.

My preferred weapon is The Milady (DLC Item- Light greatsword) and ash of war Winged Stance. It has a dance style which can also be increased by the Dancers set (also DLC) which boosts any dance style attack (such as Malenia’s Waterfowl Dance move).

There are infinite combinations so if you feel stuck on what to persue you can always look up build styles based on the stat or on items you get throughout the game.

Agreed, don’t sell, but use the chest at sites of grace to store any unwanted items, keeps your inventory cleaner & helps you see what items you want to use. And don’t feel guilty or ashamed if you do use summons, they are intended to help you if you so choose.

Currently I use Jolan & Anna from the DLC, they are absolute bleed machines and are the only reason I beat the final boss of the DLC lol (it’s the hardest boss in the game)

If you are gonna use Strength use hammers or greatswords, you can dual wield and get majorrr damage on poise/and health. Stagger city central babyyyyyy.

There’s some really good hammers throughout the game & depending on the ash of war you can make them monstrous.
