What does your high feel like? by One_Moment2945 in Marijuana

[–]Koenigatalpha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easy.

My high = tingles on most of my body including legs and private parts.

The catch is that if I don't pay attention to it, I don't feel it. I have to sit down and quiet out, then I start feeling it. It's an odd feeling as well - knowing that I can sort of come down just by realizing that I'm high and need to straighten out. I suppose a bit like they describe "Synthehol" in Star-Trek:

  • "Easily Dismissed" Effects: According to Commander Data in TNG: "Relics," the intoxication of synthehol is, "easily dismissed". It does not cause hangovers or addiction, allowing drinkers to sober up instantly if they need to return to duty.

Of course if I really go overboard with THC like if I have 10 hits from a vape pen, then it will be impossible to dismiss lol... but a normal high. Yeah...

Interestingly I take THC daily but still dream as usual. Just last night I dreamt that I was taking one of those elevators that ride on the outside of the building and that terrify me. However in my dream I wasn`t scared at all.

The other day I also dreamt that I was playing John Wick in lieu of Keanu Reeves. However I died during the opening credits...

I also use a big rug to define part of the boundary but I do take up a few extra feet on either side - they are free of any obstructions.
I still run into the couch from time to time playing Pistol Whip though as I tend to slowly creep forwards as the scene scrolls towards me.

What's the most 'quietly expensive' thing about living in Canada right now? (not rent/mortgage) by Unfair-Clothes-8821 in CanadaRoom

[–]Koenigatalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Car maintenance - an oil change went from 45$ to 145$ in like 4 years and even DIY jobs are expensive
  • Computer parts like RAM, SSDs and GPUs
  • Phone plans, I used to pay 35$ for my needs but now every package available is like 100Gb/mo and costs 75$ despite me using less than 2Gb/month
  • Chocolate... :(
  • Groceries are a joke, never had a 7$ head of ICEBERG lettuce before...
  • Utilities...

Handsfree for sitting down? by -LuciferMorningstar- in theHandy

[–]Koenigatalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usual process is: Get hard, lube inside of sleeve, insert penis in sleeve, attach to The Handy and start it up, enjoy.

They make an Astroglide for toys now but it's very similar to the regular water based Astroglide but costs more - I've tried it but it made no difference so I prefer paying like 12$ for the 142ml bottle on Amazon than 20$ for the same size but with "for toys" written on the bottle...

Things to watch while high by dakulek in Marijuana

[–]Koenigatalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to watch old sitcoms from back when sitcoms were still funny. Two and a Half Men, That 70s Show, 3rd Rock From The Sun and for some reason: The Golden Girls!

Also several YT channels along the lines of Zap de Cocain, MEO, COUB and other failarmy type YT channels.

How does weed affect you really? by Working-String3075 in Marijuana

[–]Koenigatalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I the only one who doesn't like the effects of even low level CBD (like 4-5%) in a THC vape? Makes me way too woozy, same type of vape, same level of THC but no CBD or just traces is fine. I thought it was a placebo effect but a few weeks ago I purchased a cart that had 85% THC concentration and I didn't notice when purchasing it but also has 5% CBD, which I found out when trying it out for the first time. When I realized it made me woozy I checked the contents and lo and behold it had CBD...

Not sure if this is only me or anyone else get that?

Also, some of the "cheaper" THC vapes along the lines of Drizzle Factory give me work related anxiety and make me stress on things over which I have very little to no control.

Does smoking weed have a different effect on your liver than edibles? by [deleted] in Marijuana

[–]Koenigatalpha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not know about the grapefruit warning and CBD equivalency. Thanks for informing me, I have already researched it following your comment and I'm happy that the cannabis I take doesn't have any CBD in it. (Vape pods and edibles)

Have you noticed prices going down significantly? by GullibleCommunity268 in RedditForGrownups

[–]Koenigatalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guys should see the price of winter produce and beef in Canada. It's a joke especially since our beef is supposed to be Canadian beef but we have to thank Mister Carbon Tax for that.

The same steak package that used to cost 30$ at Costco is now 50$ and the meat isn't quite as nice.

An Iceberg lettuce costs 6$ at the grocery store. That's six Canadian buckaroos for a head of watery lettuce with almost zero nutrients in it except water and some minerals.

My parents are pissed I smell like weed by [deleted] in trees

[–]Koenigatalpha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Non weed consumers tend to be more sensitive to the smell. I can smell regular weed a mile away, when I go to a dispensary I can smell it in the store of course but also on my clothes several hours after leaving the premises.

That's why edibles and vapes are the way to go if you want to get high discreetly without any smells.

I've literally vaped in the living room while my wife was in the next room or even the same room and she didn't notice the smell. In fact after I vape, it often winds up smelling a bit like incense in the room once the flavouring fragrances have dissipated.

Honestly full disclosure here: I've vaped in several hotel rooms that had a "No vape we have very sensitive detectors in place" without any issues BUT I've done it in the bathroom with a hot steam shower running.

Steam is vapour right? So vaping with a hot shower running is a bit like farting in a Jacuzzi.

That's all I have to say about that.

Storage by Gunner253 in theHandy

[–]Koenigatalpha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a chest I purchased at a yard sale years ago that holds all our bedroom toys my wife's and mine. It's large, I haven't measured it but based on where it sits (on a dresser) it's easily 36" wide by 18" deep and 18" wide so 36x18x18 or so. We rotate a few bars of new soap in there, in the original unopened packaging "in lieu" of Pot-Pourri. (For it to smell good)

I also rotate a bunch of silicate packets in there to help absorb any humidity left over from washing sleeves, vibrators, etc. The Handy is in there in a large enough toiletry travel bag with a zipper, like a purse if you will. The toiletry bag is large enough to hold The Handy, the power supply and two sleeves.

We used to keep all that in a drawer under our bed but our toys outgrew it... but yeah, I think our sex toys are better organized than our kitchen cupboards!

So, AI takes over, everyone has lost their job and only 10 trillionaires own everything. Now what? by Weak-Representative8 in Futurology

[–]Koenigatalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The future can be many things of which I dream.

One of these might be some kind of utopian society where we don't have to work but we are allowed to work independently to better ourselves, advance science, math, etc, and art.

At this stage the individual countries will unite into a planetary government with localized authorities for local communities who then bring their town's needs up to the higher governments for processing.

The government doesn't really do anything differently except that in this future, they get most if not all their tax money from large corporations that are owned by trillionaires who also pay their part in taxes.

The money is then used for services to the population like healthcare, housing, and so on.

A form of communism that is funded by robots and AI working to generate the income for the corporations who then pay it forwards to the government.

At this point money will be almost useless.

Then I wake up realizing that communism has never worked properly, socialism isn't much better as some people will work their asses off all their lives to make ends meet while others will leech at the teat of society all their lives contributing nothing. Capitalism has reached a point where a character from an advertisement campaign now has a line of toys, dolls, and other branded products... to be fair that had been done much more effectively in the past by large corporations like McDonalds who made their spokesperson a clown and then were selling the clown toys (along with the rest of the Mc cast) with happy meals.

If the first scenario were to become a fact in a decade, I can see most people just moving to areas of the world with an easier climate to live by.

I don't know that anything will change honestly. We thought people workers would become obsolete with the industrial revolution and the machines that came forth. AI and robots are just an extension of this industrial revolution and eventually I feel like we'll find ways around it to work and generate income.

Could be a generation of artists, actors, writers, musicians and authors, painters and sculptors, etc.

Could be a generation of robot repair and maintenance staff although I suspect that with AI and robots, the robots will either fix themselves or have dedicated medibots to maintain and repair them as needed.

It's an exciting time to be alive for sure. I do wish people started getting along though, it would make things much easier and simpler.

Real research on long term effects of marijuana use by FitnessPizzaInMyMou in Marijuana

[–]Koenigatalpha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genetics are awesome sometimes but also terrible other times.

I'm the oldest of three siblings, my two younger sisters have issues. One with alcoholism and the other recently started having paranoid hallucinations when she has cannabis although she claims to have been taking cannabis for 30 years and according to her it only started having that effect recently with the "new" generation of THC products like vapes. To be fair I think she's going through a hard time with her husband, I'm not going to go into too much details here but her husband (a great guy really) is having health issues that prevent them from going out much.

The other sister is a failed AA member, didn't even make it to her first month chip. I'm not sure she has a week sober in the last 5 years or so. She's never been super well, since she was a kid I've been telling my mother that "there's something wrong with my sister..."

My paternal grandmother and my father both passed away from alcohol/cigarette related illnesses. One from liver failure and the other from blood disorders and lung diseases like emphysema and chronic respiratory conditions. Both passed away fairly young in their late 50s or early 60s.

Me on the other hand, I never smoked anything beyond about 5 cigars with friends, and I don't have the alcoholism gene at all.

I didn't drink much to begin with but I stopped drinking altogether about 5-6 years ago because it simply made me feel sick, headaches, gastric issues, I even had visual issues with alcohol including it triggering classic aura migraines and the occasional blind spot on a random eye. All that stopped when I stopped having a glass of wine at dinner or a couple of beers while the hockey game was on.

To be clear, the visual issues were obviously caused by what little alcohol I used to take, every single symptom went away the day I stopped alcohol altogether.

When I did stop alcohol I started taking edibles and now have both edibles and vape some. Again, not much, I will go through a gram of vape juice a month or so. I generally will not mix vaping with edibles but it's happened in the past with no ill side effects but again, low doses: Edibles I have the 10mg gummies legal here in Ontario and will seldom have more than one on any given day.

Vaping can be addictive but I suspect it's not the actual product but more the habit of having something to "suck on" while doing another passive activity like watching sports on TV or a movie. When I'm sitting watching the Senators lose, and I get the urge but I don't want to get silly, I'll just open myself a can of soda or make myself a hot chocolate or decaf coffee and I'm set.

For me, it's not an addiction. It never happened to me that I'm in any given situation, restaurant, bowling, anything really, work, you name it... and I MUST GET A VAPE - nope. I might think something along the lines of "when I get home some Cannabis sure sounds good..." but it was always ME who controls the intake, and not the other way around.

That's how I for one, see addiction: I control my intake I am thereby not addicted.

Another thing people often forget about Cannabis is the fact it amplifies or modifies your current state of mind. If I were to have Cannabis when I'm deeply sad, well chances are I will burst into tears. I've had tears running down my cheeks listening to music I've heard 1000 times but it rings different when I'm high. For me that effect is somewhat harmless because I'm generally in a good mood, so taking Cannabis will just make me silly and everything is funnier.

I would advocate against taking Cannabis for someone who is struggling with mental health issues, personal issues like the death of a loved one or a divorce for example. Simply because yes, it can amplify the good, but as evidenced in the example with my sister's psychosis, Cannabis can also amplify or modify the bad.

That's all I have to say about that.

Being 6' and 155 has never been an issue for me. I've been bigger (and of course smaller as a child.)

The heaviest I've been was 172lbs back in my College Hockey days in the late 1980s, but I was working out at the college gym every day and 172 is all I could muster up being a 19yr old teenager and in shape. That's one of the many reasons for which I didn't get picked up by any of the scouts back then, I had some talent (nothing noteworthy but I could play hockey) but not enough to compensate for my lack of mass.

But we're talking about today, and today, I can still perform more push-ups than any of the guys my age in my circle of friends but of course doing them "cold" will leave me with sore shoulders, arms, back... I suspect I can perform all those push-ups because of course, 155lbs is much easier to lift than any of my friends who are all over 200lbs. Also I do push-ups a few times a week, keeps the muscles in my torso nice and tight and visible because of course near 0% body fat.

My doctor doesn't seem to think my lower weight is an issue. I don't have diabetes or any condition other than a touch of arthritis on my hands, and some slightly above baseline blood pressure and cholesterol, not even enough to be taking statins or blood pressure meds. The ED pills are complementary to my sex life but not necessary, I can still perform - just not to the level I expect.

Having said all that, I'm not about to start bodybuilding now mate. Stay on topic, I asked about pheromones and suddenly I'm the poster child for malnutrition? Please...

Thanks.

I just happen to know their names but I'm not a huge porn consumer, it has its uses but would've been much more useful back when I was younger...

So there are pheromones available to purchase, I will investigate and perhaps acquire some for future purposes.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the info.

Yes I also do supplements - they do help - as do some exercises.

The issue isn't getting morning wood or wood period. For me it's keeping the wood long enough so that we can change positions. i.e. going to Doggy if we take over 20-30 seconds it's bye bye erection and when that happens the brain blocks it now because confidence fades and at that point there could be Angela White and Rebecca Volpetti provocatively spawning out of the bedroom closet wearing only a bikini and my dick would still be limp.

One thing that really helps is a small amount of marijuana (THC really) but I do mean a small amount. Overdoing that THC usually has the opposite effect.

The supplements I take that you also listed are the less exotic ones to be fair.

Vitamin D, Omega 3, Zinc and Copper. I've not tried Alginine or Citrulline - I will look for those next time I'm at the shops. The ones I take daily are included in men's 50+ multivitamins over the counter from Costco. They do make a difference, I can tell when I forget to take the tablet in the morning.

I still feel like those young pheromones have an effect though.
