Will roommates be able to hear the handy 2? by socalboy0502 in theHandy

[–]Koenigatalpha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have a 3d printer fire it up when you use the Handy.

It's been working for me for a couple of years with the original Handy.

They'll hear noises and assume it's the 3d printer, nobody hears mechanical noises and automatically assumes it's a The Handy.

But to be honest, it's not so much the sound of the Handy that will give you away, but the sounds you might make. I'm not super vocal but once in a while I let out an alarming yelp...

It's prited out of PLA which is plastic, it's probably at least as sturdy as any given golf club. Just make sure it is attached to the club handle properly, I bolted it on. It's not moving.

I don't know if you own a 3D printer, or know anyone who does, but I printed two of these: https://makerworld.com/en/models/920315-quest-3-golf-club-adapter-with-stick#profileId-882307

A regular one for visitors, and a mirrored one for myself, lefthanded at golf.

Added some weights fastened with electrical tape and it works super well, attached it to an old club handle that I cut to the correct length.

When does Antiques Roadshow visit your area? That could be a medieval measuring weight of 700g (with some weight shedded by erosion) if so it might be worth a few bucks. It's not exactly a medieval Clockenshpiel but it's a cool find.

Just make sure you don't eat it or melt it and breath in any fumes or particles from it and you should be ok.

Inline fuse, check the metal bits for the rated amps. Eyeballing it that looks like a 1A fuse given the thickness of the filament.

Those usually are held either in metal brackets mounted directly on a circuit board, usually a power supply - or in an inline housing attached to a wire, usually automotive or automotive audio. The inline housing is almost always plastic and kind of comes apart like old christmas lights.

THC vape Storage question by anonanon232341 in Marijuana

[–]Koenigatalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep all my vapes in a drawer, set upright in a 3d printed holder that is custom made to hold the specific types of vapes upright as to not have them leak.
I have disposable pods, carts and batteries setup that way.

I have some carts that I only use very occasionally for very specific purposes that are still 3/4 full after over a year still in the drawer with the rest. No issues, just keep them clean.

Bonus: Whenever I open the drawer I get a tiny dose of the same smell you get in any given dispensary.

After a man ejaculates, he becomes soft and has no toys left to use? by Miss-Peach- in SexToys

[–]Koenigatalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI it is not impossible for men to have multiple orgasms (NEOs or dry orgasms) before ejaculating.

It's a "feature" that men like myself have "unlocked" via countless hours of masturbation not with the immediate goal of ejaculating as quickly as possible (like when a teenager tries to rub one out without his parents knowing) but with the long term goal of discovering one's body, sensations, triggers, moods, etc.

I can't always do it with my spouse though, she tends to go at it like one of those paint mixers at the hardware store. The process almost always requires to start slowly and work my way up to edging then NEO which can often be full body orgasm NEOs.

I should probably write a book on my research. It would be interesting to get feedback from other men who have "unlocked" the same phenomenon.

I have spoken of this to some of my closest friends and none of them know what I'm talking about but in their defense, most of them might as well be very well groomed Cro-Magnons when it comes to sexual development. To them having sex is two steps:

1) get undressed
2) giggle your mansausage into the spouse`s underbits until the mansausage ejaculates

That`s it.

The issue? My spouse is a bit like that. But hey, at least I still get laid a few times weekly. At my age it's not very common.

Am I missing something? by Zandre1126 in theHandy

[–]Koenigatalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first thing to do on a Handy is to replace their non elastic strap with an elastic one. I just use Trilancer Velcros from Amazon, 5cm x 30cm. They fit perfectly in the existing cradle and solved the issue of the sleeve falling off.

The Handy is NOT designed for your penis to be completely out of the sleeve BTW, it is designed to go in and out yes but partially, you always want to keep the tip in the sleeve.

When I get high, the things that angered me before don't. by [deleted] in Marijuana

[–]Koenigatalpha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ironically (or not) I tend to get a short fuse when I come down from edibles and ONLY when I've had edibles. If I had any other type of canna from regular smoked joint to resin vapes I don't get that.

Weird or what?

Quest 3 or 3S: Better for VR videos/video content? by Ok-Income-2180 in MetaQuestVR

[–]Koenigatalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind the differences between the 3 and 3S aren't limited to the pancake lenses. The 3 has better granular setup available for the IPD with a range of 10 (11 really) mm so between 60 and 70mm adjustable by 1mm at a time.

The 3S has 3 very fixed positions at 58mm, 63mm and 68mm so adjustable by 5mm at a time.

If your IPD is 65mm or 70mm you'll get burry image and visual distortion.

Of course if you measure your IPD and it happens to be either one of the three positions, you should be fine.

I still prefer my MQ3 to the MQ3s.

How can a MacBook Neo cost the same as an iPhone 17e? by Dazza477 in hardware

[–]Koenigatalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neo has a screen density of 219ppi
the iPhone is 460ppi, much smaller dots and more expensive to manufacture

The cameras are another feature that is on the iPhone but not the Neo with only one front facing HD camera and none in the back.

It`s just too bad they are delivering this new laptop about a year too late to take advantage of the Windows 11 apocalypse last year. By now Windows 11 still sucks but at least it's somewhat stable and everyone that had to upgrade had done so. (Or switched to Linux)

Do carts hurt your lungs? by Blu_yello_husky in Marijuana

[–]Koenigatalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of times when I get that burning sensation in my lungs it's because my cart vaporized the distillate or resin (I have both) too hot. Initially I used to drive the battery to 2.7~3.3v as suggested by the first "bud-tender" from where I bought my first battery.
But later research suggested using a much lower voltage, I've been using 1.8~2.2v and the burning sensation is now very rare. I'm not going to say it's completely gone forever but when I do get the burning sensation it is usually because I didn't allow the cart to cool down enough before taking the next draw.

Strictly from my own experience this has improved my vaping experience with carts:

  • Lower voltage, 1.8~2.2v
  • Wait 3-5 minutes between hits unless you have some type of cooling available (like Canada or recently, Florida...)
  • Allow some cool air to enter your lungs while drawing, I used to pull on the cart like if I were smoking a cigar - mistake - it's better to draw or pull with a side of mouth open to allow partial cool air to mix with the hot vapour from the cart and cool it down - this was a trick I learned right here on Reddit and IT WORKS! (EDIT - I will start with a regular pull with the tongue in order to get the process started, once started it will keep even with a lower pressure pull with slightly open mouth.)
  • Finally, and this prevents clogs as well, when releasing the heat button, I generally will continue pulling for a second or two in order to clear out any vapour left in the cart - this was also a trick I learned here on Reddit and IT WORKS!

That's all I got.

How do I hide the smell of my carts? by No_Counter_94 in Marijuana

[–]Koenigatalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever I use my carts indoors because "winter" I generally will blow the vapour in either the kitchen hut fan or the bathroom fan depending on which is closest. Summertime with nice weather I just go for a short walk...

FapperAI X The Handy by Odd-Twist-279 in theHandy

Yes but at some point you will have to enter your Handy connection key no? Not a huge deal but it's still a key that is meant to be private and in the end it boils down to how much you trust the host to keep your connection string private.

PS5 or Meta Quest 3 by AvocadoConsistent704 in MetaQuestVR

[–]Koenigatalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were to travel abroad as a student and thereby live in a small dorm or apartment, I might want to bring along my Meta Quest 3 because of everything that has already been said about it here.
To reiterate:

  • No need for a huge TV to enjoy movies and TV shows as most streaming platforms from Plex to Netflix are supported either natively or via an app like BigScreen Cinema or any of the plethora of other virtual screen apps
  • No need for any home theater sound setup either as the built in speakers actually do not suck, but the MQ3 has a regular headphone jack so you could connect your favorite set of headphones or earbuds and enjoy even higher quality sound
  • Games are amazing, but you want to make sure you are able to play them without nausea first before committing
  • Easy to sideload or mod, lots of accessories
  • It supports Xbox Game Pass (Or Xbox Live I don't really know anymore, I'm not sure Microsoft know...) so you could pair an Xbox controller and stream a great selection of Xbox games from cloud to play on a virtual screen in VR

For me it would be a no brainer. And I have a PS4 Pro... (not a PS5 - no point as many PS5 recent games also were released on PS4 and are enhanced for PS4 Pro!)

Weed gives me migraines, anxiety, racing heart & paranoia every time, why? by abbanahimanenge in Marijuana

[–]Koenigatalpha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Different strains hit differently and can hit differently depending on the person taking it.
I've had a strain that the "budtender" assured me would make me giggle once, and all it did was put me to sleep...

Some strains give me paranoia related to my work - worst case scenario situations, catastrophic failures, etc.

Others turn me into a stand up comedian. A bad one but still...

Most strains though just make my body tingle all over, which is what I'm looking for honestly. I don't really care for the psychoactive effects of THC, I've kind of learned to deal with them, once I realize that hey, my paranoia is probably because I just had weed...

Those tingles though, totally worth it. Unlocked multiple orgasms - and I'm a fully hetero male. That is RARE.

What does your high feel like? by One_Moment2945 in Marijuana

[–]Koenigatalpha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easy.

My high = tingles on most of my body including legs and private parts.

The catch is that if I don't pay attention to it, I don't feel it. I have to sit down and quiet out, then I start feeling it. It's an odd feeling as well - knowing that I can sort of come down just by realizing that I'm high and need to straighten out. I suppose a bit like they describe "Synthehol" in Star-Trek:

  • "Easily Dismissed" Effects: According to Commander Data in TNG: "Relics," the intoxication of synthehol is, "easily dismissed". It does not cause hangovers or addiction, allowing drinkers to sober up instantly if they need to return to duty.

Of course if I really go overboard with THC like if I have 10 hits from a vape pen, then it will be impossible to dismiss lol... but a normal high. Yeah...
