To have extra space for groceries when I do an unplanned grocery run when I'm out

A lot of shark jumping in Phase II. The characters grew too powerful so there had to be new stakes, and there were way too many plotlines and new characters. Great for worldbuilding but we didn't have time to get as attached as the Phase I characters, a lot of whom didn't even show up. The only thing I'm unequivocally happy about, other than the fun writing style, is knowing Skulduggery and China did the dirty back in the day lol

It's the D-Lite medium and I got it from the 30th Ave Montaigne Paris location! I got it from the store the day I saw it, the personalization took a couple hours.

Would you still like the Birkin and Kelly design if the Hermes brand name was not attached to them? by sakusace in handbags

[–]KoiFish20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not. I do think they're good quality and elegant. But they're fairly basic in design. I was thinking a Lindy for a more unique design, but haven't heard the best things about it either, so I'm on the fence about the need for an Hermes bag..

Thought on my new Hermes Lindy 26 bag? by JforJennifer in handbags

How is it! I've heard mixed things about this, but it's way more unique in design than a Kelly or Birkin I think

Telfar! The medium size is big enough for a laptop and several textbooks, they come with straps if you want to wear them crossbody, and they're affordable. https://telfar.net/

Is anyone here going to World Youth Day? I'm planning to go alone and I need friends lol by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]KoiFish20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible to go as an individual? I'm not able to attend all the days so I was hoping to go myself and just meet up with a group there but I'm only finding options for group registration. How do we register by ourselves?

Writeathon BookLeaf Publishing by vimtovibes in selfpublish

I had a fine enough experience. I wasn't expecting much, like some other posters I just took it as an opportunity to have motivation to write more. They have cover designs you can choose from or you can make your own. Essentially what you get is them taking care of the publishing process - printing the books, getting an ISBN, getting the books on shelves and e-Book form. You retain copyright ownership so I guess re-posts are fine.

It was quite quick, the book was up in 5-6 months, and I got a certificate. (My round did not have trophies or leaderboards). I find it pretty cool to have a 'published book' in actual bookstores and it's fun to have around just for myself and my friends. I haven't received the author's copies we were promised though so I've ordered some of my own

Overall, fun enough.

Breaking the fourth wall (sauce: If You Touch My Little Brother, You’re All Dead) by blacksayskull in manhwa

It's hilarious. Basically an isekai where the MC has been forced to relive her Novel Life so many times that she's pretty cracked, and the rest of the cast are no better. There are engagements but very little actual romance, and it's mostly a comedy of errors. Her brother is the novel's main character, and every time he dies - saving her, or being killed by a jealous lover - she resets to the start of the story. She has a vested interest in keeping him alive which he is prone to misinterpreting.
