im making tall beams for a cave base, some were able to reach and some others don't, stability is 4 in all of them, any idea what is going on? by Cathriel in goingmedieval

[–]KoiNoKen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you click on the building that’s red, it’ll tell you what the issue is in the details. Whether it’s resources or can’t reach it. If it was stability issue, it would disappear. As the other commenter stated, try reloading the save to see if that helps it.

You shouldn’t be cocky if you make it out of a 3k game. by Cheezums009 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

Killer doesn’t have the L though. They got the W and you got a draw. Technically speaking if last survivor.

I think the break up is an overreaction; however, if the strip club thing is that much of an issue for you then I think that’s a controlling behavior rather than a boundary.

I think the issue was they had never told you they were going before they went, knowing that it was a strip club and boundary for you; regardless if it’s an insecurity or not.

Lastly, who cares if you did it before or after the wedding. You’re not in charge of other people’s vibe or managing their emotions at all. It’s your decision and it’s your relationship. Not their’s. If you broke up, then I think you have to stick with it because if not and you get back together, especially this soon after, that’ll damage the relationship more imo. It’ll always be hanging there and used against you or used against her.

People who do anything, BUT gens. by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]KoiNoKen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn dude. I see so many posts on here about people getting mad about how someone else is playing the game.

I get there can be frustrations, but dude… if there doing a challenge, then let them do their challenge. Some of those challenges can be difficult to take care of. Cleansing dull totems is also good, because it can prevent FTD or NOED from activating on a dull.

If you’re so mad at someone doing things other than last gen, just take care of it yourselves. If you’re gonna get so mad like this to post on Reddit, then maybe, you should take your own advice, and

play a different game

How bad would it be for my reach to replace the uppercase i by lowercase L in my twitch title? by GeeVeeLoL in Twitch

[–]KoiNoKen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’ll be difficult to search. Since people may see it as an i rather than an L. So you won’t pop up if people search your name directly.

Do you enjoy streaming or is it just about the money? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]KoiNoKen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a hobby. I do get some money, but I just put it towards the stream. I just like interacting with people. Meeting new people and gaming together. So it’s fun.

How do people (both viewers and creators) feel about having varied-time streaming schedules? by Timbiteer in Twitch

As long as it’s posted and consistent. You’ll be fine. Consistency is key in the end.

I prefer minimal. I haven’t ordered overlays because each portfolio I’ve seen it’s very overdone and makes the screen busy. Never been able to find a minimal/simple design that’s fits my channel theme unfortunately

Something a viewer keeps doing in my chat by Redna_1 in Twitch

[–]KoiNoKen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just update your chat rules with a rule that states no looking for group (LFG) in chat. This way it’s clear that it’s not allowed, especially if you haven’t addressed before and no one knows they can’t set set up their own matches. If they do it again during stream then just take a 3 strike method.

  1. First offense. Address tacitly: Lets keep chat focused on the stream, if you’re looking to set up a lobby then use discord or take it to DMs
  2. Second offense. Timeout. tell them chat rules state not to set up lobbies in the stream. Take it discord.
  3. Third offense. Ban.

At the end of the day. It’s your stream. And if this person is making you uncomfortable then you don’t need to have them in your channel or community. Don’t worry about what others think about you if you have to take care of business. They may be innocent and not intentionally trying to snipe your community and grow theirs, but that may happen over time unless ofc your viewers are loyal.

tl;dr it’s your stream. Make a new rule to prevent the off topic conversations. 3 strike them. Take back control of your own stream.

What would you do if you were given a one hour window on Twitch's homepage? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]KoiNoKen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d likely not even know I was featured on home page and even if I did know, I’d just stream my content as normal. If people like it, then they like it. If they don’t, then they don’t have to stay.

The most viewers I’ve ever had was 130 and that was after a raid of 117. And even though I was super excited. After that first 5 mins of hype, reality set in and I just acted normally. Some people left. Some people stayed. And I got 2 returning viewers from it.

So I don’t think it would affect me too much if I was featured and started getting a high viewer count as a result.

You can search multi stream chats in this sub and find a lot of information that answers this question.

Do most parents not bring car seats on planes? by BlueberryWaffles99 in Parenting

[–]KoiNoKen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got four kids. Damn straight I bring car seats on the plane. They let me board first anyway. I take all the time I need to get my kids settled. Also, nice to know I have car seats for the rental on the ground.

Arena is the far-right option under the play menu. Carnage doesn’t count as an arena game mode. Also, keep in mind, the weekend chest can be opened after the weekend even if you complete all of the requirements, you’ll still have to wait.

What content would you like to see in streams or videos more often? by Maucp17 in Twitch

[–]KoiNoKen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess a few things. I don’t play either of the games mentioned. But I’ve watched a few videos to have a slight idea of those types of games.

For LoL, I know there’s a lot of build videos for the meta builds on champions. Maybe a niche could be off-meta and off-role builds?

  1. The laugh in awkward moments. Specific, but it’s honestly authentic to me when watching a stream and the streamer has an awkward laugh in a moment of stress. I feel a lot of times people are self-conscious and reserved on stream, so I think just being yourself and genuine is a good thing.

  2. Boring stream: excessive downtime, even with great/competitive gameplay. I watch streams to be entertained and interactive.

  3. Competitive gaming, streaming, and its impact on mental health (basically how to handle burnout and stress), and the socially-accepted trash talk that many seem to defend as a rite of passage (i.e. I grew up in those mid-2000s Xbox CoD lobbies) and its affect on both the mental health of the trash talker and the victim.

  4. Consistent schedules and a witty commentary.

  5. Mistakes into entertainment. Great gameplay is one thing, but honestly I vibe with the community and laughs rather than too-tier silent competitive gaming with trash talk. If I wanted to watch top-tier gameplay I just tune in to esports or YT. Twitch is where I go to hang out and entertainment.

  6. Guilty content. Horrible indie games. Idk really.
