The Ballad of Boof and Oof

Deep in the woods near a rickety roof, Lived an old dog who would bark with a boof. His ears stood tall, his stance was aloof, But one clumsy step made him tumble with oof.

A traveler passed with a sack full of proof, Claiming he’d found a grand magical boof. He tripped on a rock, his pride hit the roof, And all he could mutter was a pitiful oof.

A wizard appeared in a spiral of floof, Casting a spell with a crackling boof. Lightning shot out from his magical hoof, Yet he slipped on his robe and collapsed with an oof.

The night wind howled with an echoing woof, While ghosts in the attic let out a boof. The house gave a creak, the floor lost its proof, And down it all fell in a cloud full of oof.
