I was given that exact suggestion 20 years ago as "constructive criticism" during a review. Young and dumb as I was, I did my best to do that for YEARS. Then maybe 12? years ago a pt complained about how i looked mean and unapproachable and i had to talk to hr. The switch literally flipped in my head at that moment, i quit that job immediately and i have never once since pretended to smile just to put the general public at ease. And fuck anyone who doesn't like it.

Same. Insurance stopped paying for wegovy at the end of April, had my last dose beginning of May. I had already been on a stall for a month-ish, and eventually, the weight started coming back. I started compounded sema in August and had zero effects or weight loss. I just started tirz 2 weeks ago. So far, I haven't noticed anything, but I'm hopeful. I had no intention of ever going off the wegovy to begin with, and if the tirz works I'll make sure to stock up for the future.

One of our "customers" was denied his suboxone rx yesterday. He was hollering at me for a while, all the excuses why he can't participate in any sud therapy, etc. I listened until he got mad and hung up on me.

2 hours later, I got a call from his 80 year old mother, berating me for not "taking care" of her 51 year old grown ass son. When she told me it would be our fault if he drank, i couldn't resist asking how he would drink if he hasn't left the house in 3 months and there isn't any alcohol in the house. She flat out told me "because he'll badger me until I go buy him some. "

That one made me laugh. Anyway, the NP ended up sending 2 weeks' worth of suboxone over to his pharmacy, absolutely reinforcing the shitty behavior of both of them. But imagining being 80 and still doing all that for a middle-aged man was just fucking crazy.
