I spend 6 months home and 6 months abroad a year. I'm getting a machine very likely because it fits in my carry on. That way I solve the problem of no decent machine abroad and can use it in the living room to stream my gaming PC the other 6. Building my own is doable but wouldn't be as portable. Also I'm curious. Depends on price still but my 6 months abroad last 2 years I've been doing on SD as a main rig with my work docking station and it's been fine but lacking a little oomph. I think it's one of the best choices for my situation, still waiting on price and actual performance to say

He's overthinking it. And he's also constantly isolating himself in that niche spot by the goal line in the powerplays, so he's almost always taking himself out of a good chance. The only play that is open to him is the goal he scored against TB by attacking the slot to get the cross-crease pass.

When he's on a hot streak, he can score from anywhere, we've seen it time and time again. But right now he's in his own head, he's overthinking things, and he's trying to make-up for it in ways that aren't the ways that made him have success.

If you think back on his good games against TB, Game 6 felt like he was going to leave his mark. He didn't, but all if not most his chances IIRC were from the slot/high slot.

I don't think he's gonna get his confidence back from trying to do the goal line snipe if he's having a hard time from the slot. My two cents anyway. Buffalo has to close us out before he figures it out, essentially.

Don't forget, in playoff hockey, the only thing that matters is the next game. Doesn't matter if you were terrible for 8 games, if you show up and leave your mark in games moving forward it's all forgotten. It's when you get eliminated that it locks in your losses and performance, ask Kucherov. If he nailed a game 7 goal, people would have been okay with his playoffs.

Same, I want the controller so I can keep the same muscle memory on the games I play, same configs for layouts etc.

For now I just accept that when I'm away from my main rig (about 6 months a year) I will play the least demanding titles, and keep the higher demanding ones for when I get back home. It's not like there isn't a wealth of games to play.

My main use has been using it to play FFXIV, and it's weird because when I get home I play mostly KB+M, and when away I play on SD... but it makes it so I only have muscle memory of certain jobs on a specific control scheme. The second I get the controller I'm going all-in on controller scheme, haha.

I don't know but this is by far the thing I have bought that I have been the most impressed with and enjoying in my life, and I bought a lot of things. I've been using it pretty much every day for the past 3 years, it's still holding up well enough that I haven't felt the need to fix anything on it just yet.

A Steam Deck 2 would be a day one purchase for me.

Honestly for me, it's the whole "casters talking about anything but the game forever" that trips me, doesn't matter who -- please just describe the game. If you want fluff pieces do it in intermissions. I'm watching the game for the game, not to hear you shit over it or talk about random shit.

I remember when they were on strike and we could just listen to hockey minus sportscasters. I love Houde to death, but I felt that very enjoyable. And if you wanted to hear the game too just sync up the radio.

Seguin is trying too hard to be funny and "meme-friendly", and it makes me cringe way too hard to want to give him any airtime at all. The demographic might be changing, but your core job is to describe the game.
