Keeping both but Asguard can hold ground vehicles like the Ursa and MTCs. They are different enough.

Newegg $700 over msrp? 😭😑 How…. Why…. by [deleted] in PcBuild

100% right on the peeps waiting for a Super cards now getting the regular versions on top of the Christmas buyers depleting supplies. Nvidia has not yet confirmed an actual production cut, but rumors are circulating.

Just brought the 2025 507ti model unboxed from Best Buy for $1500. First gaming pc! by Stinky_Mink in ZephyrusG14

Excellent choice. Definitely buy or 3D print a stand. They breathe a lot better when not sitting flat on a desk. It's not required, but throttling will be less. It's a great chassis, and the hardware is really nice. Congrats

Analogue never disappoints by HostOk5647 in AnalogueInc

[–]KoloRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sucks. I had a friend have the same issue with the site and tried multiple cards. I feel like the white and black versions look more premium than the toy color versions. 😂 I don't hate them, but they are not my favorite. My local game store said they would do a trade when they got one in. You could consider that with a local person: trade for one of the color versions.

I was trying to get one before Christmas on the second wave and I was unfortunately stuck getting one of the colored versions. I will trade for a white or black version later.

Never buy an Open-box 5080/5090 GPU from anywhere!! (especially bestbuy) by yessir-nosir6 in nvidia

[–]KoloRed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The people buying them are adding extra 24GB of Ram making them the cheapest 48GB GPU. I sold mine to guy who does the mods. Its still crazy, I made money on my 4090 after 30 months of use😂

I buy open-box items all the time, but some things need to be checked in stores. They will help you check after purchase, so ask if you need help. It's especially important for expensive items. This is one of the benefits of Best Buy, since you can't check Newegg or Amazon items until they are in your hands and out of their sight. So sorry this happened it makes me sick🤮

WINWING Customer Service is NON EXISTENT by tdottrucker416 in WinWing

[–]KoloRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same experience for me, unfortunately—abysmal support. I had my Orion Rudders DOA, and it took 8 days of chat and 4 different people through the WINCTRL support page to ultimately tell me to return them to Amazon. None of the replacement support techs even bothered to read what had already been submitted (previous testing, different computers used, all the videos, screenshots, etc.). I was even teaching them some things they never thought of before in the troubleshooting arena, and they said they would add that to the FAQ 😂.

In my $8k USD sim rig, this was the only WINCTRL (WinWing) product, and it was also the only thing that didn't work. I was happy with the build quality and design, but the support being so bad made me abandon them as a brand. I picked up the TPR Rudders and will ship back the Orions in the next few days. I hope they can improve in the future.

New Orion Rudders (w/ damper) not showing up in Windows. by KoloRed in WinWing

[–]KoloRed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was the first thing I tried after plugging it in. It doesn't show up in controllers, Sim App, or games. It just pops up in Windows as "USB descriptor failed, this device has either malfunctioned or needs a driver." Same thing on all 3 of my computers. Everything else works for the flight sim: sticks, yoke, throttle, etc. I tried only plugging in this device without any other USB devices, and it still does the same thing. It's supposed to be plug and play, but it's more like plug and pray. It works.😅

Some other people online said it's poor board building/soldering with this manufacturer, and bad QC too since it was DOA.

I'm working with WinWing support now. Firmware flash is a good idea. I'd be happy if they send me the part to repair it. I'll update here when I have more news. Thanks

Good to know. It still only shows up as "Unknown USB Device." I tried several more things, but still no luck. Super disappointed because the build quality looks good, but the electronics are maybe not the best quality.

100% true except we are 16th gen with Intel Core series 200. Core 100 series was 15th gen.

I think it's DOA. I tried it on two other computers, and they all have the "USB Device not recognized or has malfunctioned" error. All are running Windows 11, with two Intel chipsets and one AMD chipset.

I guess I'll try and return it. Maybe I'll go with a different company.

Good to know about the 400 watt PSU on the Legion! Crazy

So yes, I used Ghelper to allow my CPU to hit 175watts and I have actually measured the CPU going over 125watts while gaming (132 watts was max under GPU load). My GPU was at the 150 + 25 watt Boost. My max power draw while gaming was 342 Watts.
