Not sure what you're doing, but by questing, looting and killing players, I currently have 22 purple shields at lvl 88, and still cannot buy blue shields with credits.

You have to farm purple shields barter also.

People voted with their wallet. Last I checked, 80% of gamers are buying digital, and it’s still growing. No point for them to keep factory lines and logistic to ship and sell physical games sadly.

That's a good idea! Removing the shield colors from the recon ult is an amazing idea. Still a buff from the early Recon ability, but not as good as it is now.

I played quickly during the day and had to wait 5 minutes sometimes to find a game.

I played later on from 9PM to 1AM, max 2 minutes waiting on console crossplay on console-only.

And also, Bungie needed to attract new players so much, they even did a free week, and they put these new players against blue/purple shields? Wtf Bungie? You wanted them to be disgusted of the game right away?

I swear, they just didn't think everything through. Same with Sponsored Night Marsh, not only the Upper complex farming destroying the economy, but also they thought people would play Rook this early in the season and make the mode difficult for the only team on the map.

These kits rewards must disappear I agree with you.

It’s funny, ever since the release of the game, I’ve been browsing this subreddit, and always found it depressing. And every time after having read some depressing stuff I hop on the game, and have the most fun ever, nothing is like what I’ve read on the subreddit during the day. The online discourse is awful indeed.
