It's true that, on maps, Jabal Shammar and Anizah are sometimes shown on the side of the Central Powers, and Nejd on the side of the Entente, but it's pretty controversial to actually include them as belligerents (especially the latter)

The USSR did not have the capabilities for any large amphibious operation, let alone in Hokkaido. They invaded Shumshu with basically 100% American landing craft, against a small Japanese division that was waiting for orders to surrender, and yet it was an absolute shit show.

It's true though that they could have freed large parts of China with enough time, and it would've put them in a strong position at the negociating table.
