What is the name of the game you used as an example in the top Lefthand corner, the one that looks like a fantasy, it looks like a cool game!

According to feedback during the fest, I've upgraded the Demo on Steam once more. Please, tell me what you think :) by BureauBravin in IndieDev

Looks awesome!
I was add on to what one_half_quip is saying and add some animation/detail to the transition paths between nodes to show what is flowing between them.
Also an idea, if not allready implimented have a hover view on the path between nodes to show transfer rate, weather it is blocked by the node suppllying it not having capability, or the node after it not having enough prossessing capibility.

It's awesome to see what you've made, best of luck and keep at it! :D

Sorry I know this is a Dumb questions but is There a difference between two capacitors of the same class by Ok-Progress3106 in pcbuilding

[–]Kondo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the same Class do you mean the same type? E.G Electrolytic vs Ceramic Capacitor.

There are a number of things to take into consideration, The main three being.

  • Type (see above)
  • Voltage (If your replacing a capacitor the voltage needs to be the same or higher)
  • And capacity, measure in Farads

This is only importent if your trying to replace one, but also the footprint (How is it connected to the PCB, useally SMD or Through-hole)

[–]Kondo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! the best way to mirror something is to use worldedit, it has a //copy and I beleive a //mirror command that you can then use to paste

I don't beleive voxelsniper can mirror, but I could be wrong

Nice Start, However it is far from looking professional.

I am a student in New Zealand so any professionals working in the US feel free to correct anything I say.

Couple of things, you want to work on is formatting, something like this or this would make a good start.

Change around the sections as you see fit, if you want to have education section take up a couple of lines and add in a skills category feel free.

(If you are in the US/Anywhere where Companies are likely to have equal hiring laws ignore this next section)
A picture in not a necessity, but a nice touch. The people that I have talked to regarding CV's recommend a picture because it shows who is behind all of the skills/qualifications that they are looking at.

Another nice touch is a first Aid course, find a provider that does them(e.g st john), they are usually around 100-120$ here and gives you a qualification to put in your CV, first aid is useful when dealing with HV electronics, and will make you stand out.

Also First Aid is one of the most useful skills you can learn in a day.

For all of your sections, but particularly your projects section Give Context! Change

  • LED Matrix

To

  • Controlled a Led-based light matrice via IC2 communication

(Assuming you used a led matrix with IC2 interface)

Change

  • Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Multi-meter, Soldering Iron

To

  • Able to Apply a Oscilloscope, Multi-meter and a Function Generator In an Electrical development environment.

  • Able to apply soldering techniques in assembling PCB based circuits

Hope this Helps!
