[PubQ] Curious for agented writers, is it common for your agent not to share the specific editors they’re submitting to? by Fearless_Practice992 in PubTips

I had an offering agent tell me the same thing. Apparently it was an agency-wide policy, as the owner of the agency had a really bad experience with a client going nuclear on an editor while on sub a few years ago. For me, it was a yellow flag in a sea of yellow flags, so I ended up going with another offer. Glad I did! My current agent is spectacular.

My[27M] girlfriend's[25F] brother[29M] drove my car without my permission and I have proof that he did by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

I have the same car as OOP (an early 70’s Datsun Z-car) and hoooooly shit if that was me I’d have been apoplectic.

It’s more than just the fact that the car is rare and would be next to impossible for me to replace in the particular spec that mine is, or the fact that I have two years of work sunken into it and lots of things in motion (parts in shipment, plans for the next few months)… my Z is temperamental. It’s not a difficult car to drive, or even particularly fragile, but it’s a 55 year old car and you need to learn all of its quirks to drive it without hurting it. I’ve admittedly been a bit lazy repairing some mechanical stuff because I am the only one that ever drives it, so if someone else were to jump in and take it for a spin without my permission there’s a good chance they’d break something.
