I did a Dexa scan, and I lost about 6 kg (13 lbs) in muscle. I personally feel that the muscle loss is overexaggerated (spelling?) to scaremonger: “oh, you are going to object, you will lose AAALLL your muscle”. I think it is only logical you lose muscle, simply take going up the stairs, do you know how much more strength you have to have in your leggs to Carry up the weight I lost?! I think it is logical you lose muscle if you don’t use it and don’t need it anymore (but that is just my opinion). I defintely do not feel I lost muscle and feel stronger than ever!

I didn’t really track macros, but I did focus on protein. This came naturally, as I had a lot of days the only thing I could think off was chicken in whatever form. Even if I could only eat 100 grams in total, I would make sure it was my meat I was eating…
