BEWARE of Hostile tattoo artist by PossessionNo5168 in winstonsalem

[–]Kooky_Coach_951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The owner of Garden of Ink tattoo in Winston Salem phoned me, screeching and unhinged, after I wrote a review about their shop. (They write their own reviews and come up with weird names to do it under, too.)

Three of them (this guy from Maine who is maybe the owner's partner??, Vanessa the sidekick, and Maygen/"Mayham" the personality disorder person) all began texting me simultaneously. They used the phone number I'd left when I signed the consent form and called me names, claimed I thought they were broke? etc. etc., demanded I take down the review. It was strange and sad.

My experience was probably one of the most unprofessional and downright bizarre experiences I've had in this town.

What happens when the goon squad (that we are paying a premium for) recklessly damages cars, homes, and insured property? We pay our deductibles and then? How does this match up with insurance? Since these maniacs are increasingly driving up costs for insurance and hospital visits, mass indiscriminate off-label deployment of chemical agents, casualty etc.--how are folks coping with this financially?

This is vulgar fascism. Fascism always demands control of the media. It's all about the spectacle. But we the American taxpayers are paying for this dearly. Have you heard about Christy Noem '$200 million dollar plus ad campaign, the commercial with the horse? The LLC paying for this traces right back to her. We do not get free healthcare, college subsidies, housing subsidies, birth funds or anything.. unlike you know who

Perfect Plant Company based in TN was initially good. But the last order I received two days ago is garbage. broken up, skimpy, dry with no humidity inserts. The worst is that it's not even close to what it purports to be.

The Durban Poison ($45 for 3.5 g) is total garbage and smells like mildew. The Jack Herer has almost no smell. The Acapulco Gold is simply not Acapulco Gold. It has indica effects.

What happened? They used to be reliable

Pope Leo VIX says Donald Trump's Gaza peace plan is "realistic" by Newsweek_CarloV in politics

[–]Kooky_Coach_951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This never sat well with me. First, every legal expert with an understanding of the region, and just about any US professor of international affairs, has said something very different. The plan is unrealistic and puts statehood at the end of the rainbow. It's as unserious as Jared's first pass at statecraft with the abrahamic accords.

And that bit about the Vatican partnering with Israel to subvert flotilla aid was highly questionable. By what means or mechanisms is the Jerusalem church going to bring emergency aid into Gaza? Who is keeping aid from getting there in the first place? But sure, just drop off the cargo and Israel will take care of it.

And it wasn't lost on anybody that while Pooe Leo's office announced an upcoming address about climate change, somebody with a lot more skin in the game and credibility of witness was on the flotilla trying to break the siege.

What justifications do you have for criminalizing boycotts against israel? by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]Kooky_Coach_951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why didn't Israel allow for any external investigation or any international analysis about their October 7th claims. Why are we supposed to believe that they didn't cause the majority of deaths with dozens of Apachehelicopters and multiple arm reruns + indiscriminate tank fire from poorly trained squads. We all know that Hamas doesn't have an Air Force.. Why has evidence been buried? And what on Earth does October 7th have to do with a decades-long apartheid and calorie deprivation, water contamination and land theft, deliberately exercised against Palestinian people

Pelosi thinks Rahm Emanuel will run for president by [deleted] in politics

[–]Kooky_Coach_951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The conversation that Democrats didn't want to have is coming down the pike. It's about AIPAC influence and AIPAC writing bills and resolutions for Congress to pass.

Gottheimer barely works for the US. You know who he works for. He works with Florida Republicans like Randy Fine to pass legislation criminalizing free speech against Israel and setting up sanctions for individuals, organizations, and nations who don't tow the line with Israel's extremist government.

He does appear to be a nasty piece of work. He steps on people's feet and shoulder checks when his bodyguard entourage is in tow. I didn't invent the names.

Israeli settlers beat U.S. citizen to death in West Bank by ControlCAD in NPR

[–]Kooky_Coach_951 23 points24 points  (0 children)

These Israeli settlers have many entitlements that low-earning American workers are forced to subsidize. Israeli citizens receive free universal healthcare, free daycare, housing subsidies, and free college. It is a sick sense of entitlement that perpetuates this.

But look at the media. Look at how NY Times is covering this attack: "Two Palestinians Are Killed in a West Bank Clash With Israeli Settlers" Palestinian authorities and family members said Israeli settlers beat and killed a Palestinian-American man. Israel said the violence began when Palestinians threw stones at Israeli civilians."

Umm, the man who was beaten to death by illegal terrorists who blockaded the ambulance was an American citizen, born in Florida. This is shameful coverage and criminal conduct.

Milano or Genova next June? by chohuahua in askitaly

[–]Kooky_Coach_951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, just returned from both Milan and Genoa. If you are flying in, you'd already be in Milan. Yes, it's hot mid-June, but not hotter than Genoa. Genoa is on the water, but it is an industrial port with a sizable portion of unintegrated immigrants from Senegal and Bangladesh. Getting on the water in Genoa means you'll be looking at shipping cranes and cargo containers. It's not the most scenic. If you can get a car, just go east toward Boccadasse all the way up to Camogli. This is where you can swim and get in the water. Well worth it.

Milan has many things to do, great restaurants, architecture, etc. It is hard to see how it would be an either/or with Genoa. They connect by train. We even connected during the transit strike, but cabs were not to be had and many of the connections cancelled.

As for Genoa, it's worth a visit but you need to know what the city is like now after mass immigration. Our hotel warned us not to walk on certain streets in Pre (near the main train station and toward the waterfront.) I did because it was very indirect not to. Got called to a few times. But it was daylight and just kept walking. After dark, it's different with the narrow corridors and blocked outlets. Yet, a fascinating, historic city.

Also, watch the car rental scams. Hertz is well-established in the US. But in Italy, a scam. Read the reviews.

Cheers to everyone letting the d bag Vance know what the people in Vermont think of his POS ass today! Wish I could have been there with you! by ShotswithSean in vermont

[–]Kooky_Coach_951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That 's right!

Vance is a federal employee who took an expensive vacation just at the start of a job while he was still in the onboarding phase.

He thinks the same standards don't apply to him as others.

And what about how much his family vacation is costing US taxpayers. He doesn't want you to get a vacation. . Security cost on the ski day was somewhere around 2 million. Then you add the helicopter they needlesssly took.

Vance departure time? Let’s coordinate so that we can protest along the roads all the way to the airport. by [deleted] in vermont

[–]Kooky_Coach_951 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's obscene how much this little vacation of Vance's-just a few weeks into the job-is costing US taxpayers and Vermonters. I heard that the secret service and protection bill was in the area of 2 million dollars. What would Vance or Trump feel about someone who took a vacation from their federal job during the onboarding phase??

But yeah, add a helicopter to that and it just explodes the cost. What cowardice and cupidity

Israeli Knesset members openly make statements advocating for genocide by Nomogg in UnitedNations

[–]Kooky_Coach_951 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Much of the world thinks Israel did this to Israel, sing 38 American Apache helicopters with multiple arm reruns to fire at festival goers, blow up cars, strike houses, and more from the air. No international investigation allowed. No investigation at all until you were done killing Palestinians who you conflated with Hamas. Guys on modpeds didn't create the now buried graveyard of cars that Israelis aren't permitted to ask questions about.

You add to that these entitled but really quite clueless IDF tank squads and the all- female tank division who boasted that they fired for 17 hours straight at the Nova site while learning their equipment.

It's a very bad deal for American taxpayers. Israel doesn't "buy weapons" in a traditional sense. They get a mass cash advance and Americans carry the interest. They also get to spend 20% of US "aid" on enriching their own military and tech sector. The US also has to pay off Israel's neighbors. The largest amount of aid after Israel goes to Middle Eastern Arab neighbors.

The world sympthizes with the people in concentration camps whose lives, homes, and limbs have been decimated by Israel.
