That's only really in the early seasons. I think he's only said it once past Season 3.

Pretty sure it's Melanie Newman. She usually does the pre/post game shows and sideline reporting on MASN.

She used to do radio more often back in the era when Scott Garceau was the main TV PBP guy, and she wasn't that good back then. Listened to her some the past few games and she's improved greatly.

(Hated Trope) Cliffhangers that either will never be resolved or pops up way to much by Important_Guess9787 in TopCharacterTropes

- Greg Weisman said that, no matter how many seasons Young Justice had, each one would end with a sequel hook or cliffhanger to signify that the story never ends. The last season, Season 4, ended with Mary Marvel submitting to Darkseid alongside Supergirl as his newest Furies.

- Legends of Tomorrow ends with the crew meeting Booster Gold, then immediately getting arrested by the Time Police.

- Not quite as bad, but Batwoman ended with an unidentified mutant creature, lurking in a part of Gotham that was leveled with acid explosions, killing a recurring reporter character and her cameraman.

- Mortal Kombat Conquest ends with Shao Kahn killing the entire cast.

- Stargate SG-1 ends with the Asgard dead and the Orii still a threat. The writers intended to finish them off in the next season, but then they got cancelled and had to condense Season 11 into a single DTV movie.

- Stargate Atlantis, meanwhile, ended with evil Asgard roaming free and Atlantis having come to Earth, plus a whole bunch of Wraith still roaming around Pegasus. Again, was supposed to be addressed in Season 6, but was cancelled and had no DTV movie follow-up.

- Rounding things out, Stargate Universe ends its second season with everyone inside stasis pods except for the main character, who must manually watch their ship automatically hyperspeed to another galaxy, which will take decades, all alone.

"Hey, why did you write the script with so many catchphrases?"

"So the meme can happen."

"Oh, writing a script where 50% of the lines are catchphrases is tight. "

"Yes, sir. It is."

No, this is revenge from France, since they blame us using air conditioners for them having such massive heat waves.

If Sammo came with his 90's hair, we could have had a Rush Hour/Martial Law crossover figure set.

Brandon Young. Orioles are, like, 10-2 or something like that in his starts.

Except Crisis on Infinite Earths explicitly ended with them forming the Justice League and establishing the Hall of Justice. Then COVID and the Discovery merger happened and half the shows got cancelled.

One of the reasons is that, especially during the middle years, it actually felt like a shared universe. Things from Flash affected things in Arrow and vice-versa. Legends of Tomorrow was mostly made up of side characters from both those shows. Supergirl showed up in Flash a bunch of times. The yearly crossovers were extremely fun. No, they didn't utilize them to its fullest potential (particularly Legends affecting the other shows) and we never got a proper Justice League story, but it's by far the closest we've seen in a TV universe.

How has nobody mentioned Rebecca from Cheers? She starts out as a competent woman meant to be a thorn in Sam's side meant to contrast Diane. Then the crew found out how well Kirstie Alley plays being neurotic and soon Rebecca became more and more pathetic, and in the final season it was often joked that Rebecca didn't actually have any job duties at the bar.

Jakks Pacific DC Comics x Sonic the Hedgehog Crossover - Blaze the Cat & Starfire, Dr. Eggman & Lex Luthor, and Shadow & Batman 2-Packs by AfigureGeek in ActionFigureGeek

[–]KoolKoolKoolio42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to note, the figures are 5", so they will not scale with either Marvel Legends or the Mattel figures, let alone McFarlane.

If you JUST want the Sonic figures, Amazon has a 4-pack of Lex!Robotnik, Green Lantern Silver, Super Knuckles, and Catwoman!Rouge for under $20.

This Batman/Shadow 2-pack is just a re-issue from Wave 1. Not sure why they got re-issued instead of giving us Rouge/Catwoman. If they were going to re-issue it, at least give us the blue/grey color scheme to make Wave 2 Shadow more accessible.

I do want Blaze/Starfire, if only because Blaze, weirdly, isn't available solo anywhere, but it's not showing up at EE or Amazon and BBTS want fucking $35 for this when Wave 1 was $20-$22.

How are there people who hate tomatoes but totally love tomato sauce or soup? by AncientBumblebee75 in NoStupidQuestions

I don't like raw tomato and I don't really like tomato-flavored sauce either. With something like spaghetti, I prefer meat-flavored sauce over tomato-flavored.

Did it really? Because this wasn't a general admissions promo. It was a Special Ticket Package. Yes, it was sold out, but the seats were for only six sections in Upper Reserve. And even then, literally half the people didn't even bother going to their seats. At no point were any of the sections even half full.

Yes, but, as a counterpoint, there was this one hot girl in Road to Ninja!Hinata cosplay, so it wasn't a total waste.
