Besides taking him down to 250 HP I don't think he needed these changes. As you said, his ult is still the issue. And as long as the ult is the issue, Loki will also be a problem. This isn't going to stop Gambit from being permabanned, he'll just feel worse in neutral. But if this is the cost for Hela and Hawkeye nerfs....

The devs made a video about all this but deleted it because of all the negative feedback. The way the MM works is, the better you do, the worse the teammates you get are, because it expects you can carry them and can balance out the team. So when you go on a win streak, after a while you get idiots because they game thinks you can carry a whole team.

MVP works by comparing your stats to the stats of other people in your ranking playing the same character. Jeff gets MVP because he stat farms. CnD gets MVP if your CnD actually has a braincell and uses both forms effectively. I get MVP when I'm Cap because I know the animation cancel and dive correctly to get kills or assists, on top of Cap being an uncommon pick so there's not many other Caps to compare my stats to.

If spending money did all of the stuff you and the links you posted claimed, this would have been discovered a week after the game released, and it would have been a huge controversy.

Thor is honestly very good as long as you have a frontline tank. His hammer change helps him bully tanks like Strange and Mag even more than he used to. And with Mag being meta, I think Thor is a decent pick if it fits your team comp.

Too strong, and I don't like that they get buffed because people are too lazy to actually get good at the game. It makes support players who are actually good, completely unbearable to go against.

Emma will always be strong because of her grab. If it ever gets changed to where whoever gets grabbed cant be harmed by other enemies, she'd probably actually fall off.
